Terry Burrus can take it even further with hard groove and dance tracks that's being featured on his forthcoming album. Burrus strives to create musical projects that can be described as tasteful and enjoyable. But it was not always the case for the pianist in the beginning. Alot of years, training and learning made him a visionary. Studying Beethoven, Dvorak, Grieg, Mozart, Chopin, he is also deeply rooted in Soul, Jazz, Gospel, and dwells deep in Electronica. Making home between Europe and the United States, his musical journey becomes more exciting and challenging when working with new and exciting people in different genres. The musical versatility is due to the many artists and recordings Terry has worked on as well as his extensive worldwide travels and experiences for years. The native New Yorker learned the piano at age five and became a church organist at Washington Temple in Brooklyn, New York by the time he was seven growing up in that church alongside singers, James" D Train" Williams, Ronnie Dyson and the Reverend Al Sharpton. Terry Burrus studied with Sticks Evans his musical mentor teacher in Junior High School and it was there where Terry put together his Junior High School band as a guitarist which he got quite proficient on and also as a keyboardist. He is best known for his role as Roger "Raj" Thomas on the 1970s ABC sitcom What's Happening!!, and its 1980s syndicated sequel, What's Happening Now!!, and for his recurring role as Mr. Omar on Everybody Hates Chris.Thomas began his professional acting career as a Broadway actor, appearing in the 1974 revival production of Love for Love and in the 1975 revival of The Member of the Wedding. Both shows starred actress Glenn Close. Shortly after he moved to LA to pursue a career as a TV/film actor. In the fall of 1975 he received a role on an episode of The Jeffersons. It was during the taping of the show that he learned of an audition for the upcoming comedy sitcom What's Happening!!, loosely based on the 1975 film Cooley High. During the show's run, Thomas was involved in other acting film and TV projects including Baretta, Roots, The Brady Bunch Hour and the film A Piece of the Action starring Sidney Poitier and Bill Cosby. Don Minenger started out in modeling when he was 27 years old but after dealing with some disappointments and frustrating circumstances he decided to give it up. He gave up on the whole industry and decided to concentrate on raising his kids. It was not until June 2011 that an agency reached out to him and offered to help him get back into the industry, he was very hesitant to accept and told them he would call them back. He spent two weeks thinking about it, he decided to sign with them for six months and they told him that if they could not find any work for him within those six months that they could dissolve the contract. He waited and nothing came through and it made him depressed and he told himself that this is not for me. He received a call from a lady named Theresa that was producing an off-Broadway show in New York City. He landed the role and went on to work with her from 2011 to present in four of her productions. He also did another off-Broadway play with another very talented producer and writer named Nisi Newsom. Then he was discovered by an upcoming film director by the name of Nevaughn Brown. In between him doing plays back in 2012, he worked with Mr. Brown on a film called (Love Like This) and is currently working with him on some other projects. They are also in partnership with a magazine called (The Everyday Girl Magazine). He is currently writing a sitcom called (The Family) and also working on writing his first off-Broadway play called (Am I My Brothers’ Keeper). He is also looking to do some workshops for children that want to learn about the business the right way.

French on Friday are a group of musicians with different backgrounds, united by their love of quality pop music. Looking back on and up to the great piano-playing songwriters of the past decades, Elisabeth Kaplan (lyrics) and Nikolaus Newerkla (music) strive to create songs with strong melodies and staying power, songs that capture the imagination, songs that are somehow familiar yet surprising. And Angelika Huemer (viol, recorders), Philipp Comploi (basse de violon) and Jakob Sigl (drums) round off the unmistakeable, almost orchestral sound of French On Friday.
