I'm back! It's been a couple months of deep transformation and rebirthing, and I'm ready to share my experience of overcoming myself and my attachment to my old life story.
So often our egos and fears hold us back from accomplishing our dreams and letting the Universe answer our prayers. It is necessary for us to let go and let God, but what if you are grasping too tightly to your beliefs around how your life should be or how your prayers should be answered? You might feel stuck. Frustrated. Angry. Resentful. Yucky.
I know because I was there. And now I'm in a space of accepting life on life's terms, moving through my challenges with ease and grace 90% of the time, and this is all a new development. So I am here for you on your path to inner transformation.
Tune in and find out what I've been up to, what to expect in the coming months, and just to fill up your spirit with some inner light nourishment!
Hello my name is Paul Pesley and welcome this is my first show under the title of "PresSpeaks".Let me tell you a little about myself.
You might say in the industry I hold several titles: musician, television host/producer, co-host and producer of talk radio (on the "Albert Lewis Show" WGBB, North Babylon, NY - WWRL 1600 am, NY City) as well a writer.
On this show "PresSpeaks" I'm going to try a little different format, I put together short clips and long . The reason for this change in format is I want to try to hone my skills and make it the type of show you can easily relate to and come back to as often as possible. Please Enjoy rhe show.
As Baba Wesley Gray traines for his 15 New York Cith Marathon in 2014, he shares with us the and exciting elements of this years auspicious race.
"The New York City Marathon returned after a one-year absence with big crowds, heightened security and a familiar champion. Geoffrey Mutai successfully defended his title Sunday, 11/3/13, while fellow Kenyan Priscah Jeptoo came from behind to win the women's race. Brons resident Buzunesh Deba finished runner-up for the secound straight time in her hometown event.
Fans again packed the 26.2 mile course, undaunted by the events of the past year. The 2012 NYC Marathon was canceled because of the devastation of Superstorm Sandy, but not before many New Yorkers were enraged by initial plans to hold the race.
After the bombings at April's Boston Marathon, bomb-sniffing dogs roamed the course, and barricades limited access points to Central Park. A record of 50,740 runners started the race through the five boroughs.
Mutai, pulled away around Mile 22 and beat Ethiopia's Tsegaye Kebede by 52 seconds. On a windy morning, Mutai's time of 2 hours, 8 minutes, 24 seconds was well off his course record of 2.05:06 set in nearly perfect conditions two years ago. He is the first man to repeat in New York since Kenya's John Kagwe in 1997-98. Kebede, the london Marathon champ, clinched the $500,000 bonus for the World Marathon Majors title. Priscah Jeptoo, the 2012 Olympic silver medalist and 2013 London Marathon Champ won in 2:25:07 to clinch the $500,000 World Marathon Majors bonus."

We are challenged to accept no substitutes for the Presence and Power of the Holy Spirit.
As you pursue the knowledge of the Lord, settle it for yourself that you will resist the temptation to minister out of your own temperament, skill, position or personal inheritance. Many ministers, for example, are such good speakers that they are able to convince their audience themselves rather than allow the opportunity for the Holy Spirit to convict them on His terms. Another example is in ministering in prophecy or words of wisdom. You may have noticed how general many prophetic words are. This doesn’t necessarily mean that the Lord is not speaking, but that there is a lot of interference, probably from the person delivering the word. We are all to discern the difference, and encourage one another to “hold out” for the actual flow of the Spirit through our spirit. Many also have a tendency to add their own emotion or power of persuasion—the force of their personality—to their ministry, and the recipient is left overwhelmed by the person to the point they may not be able to discern the truth. Likewise there is a tendency to attribute ministry responsibilities to second and third generations, that a ministry is somehow a birthright of a ministry family and can be passed down from generation to generation.
Take note that it is possible to duplicate some of the effects of the moving of the Spirit through our own efforts, especially since most people will go along with what is being said or done. But the true results of His moving—freedom, healing, assurance—can’t be faked. Either God moves or He doesn’t: If He’s not moving, don’t try to talk Him into it. Likewise, if He’s “rocking the boat,” don&

The Baltimore Ravens will try to break a two-game losing streak when they play in Cleveland at FirstEnergy Stadium (4:25 p.m. ET.) The Browns, who won three games in a row after a 14-6 loss at Baltimore on Sept. 15, have now lost three straight and own a 3-5 mark. The Ravens, coming off their bye week, are 3-4.
The Ravens have lost three of their last four games by a combined eight points: at Buffalo (23-20), vs. Green Bay (19-17) and at Pittsburgh (19-16).
The Washington Redskins return home to host the San Diego Chargers today at 1 p.m. on CBS. A week after dropping to 2-5 with a disappointing showing against the Denver Broncos, the Redskins will attempt to rebound with a victory over another AFC opponent.
Can RG3 and the Skins offense get back on track and will the Washington defense hold Phillip Rivers in check, as he experiences career resurgence under new head coach Mike McCoy.
Alan & Steve will break down each game complete with keys for each team’s victory. The guys go inside the white lines like no other pregame show does for either the Skins or Ravens. You will also hear all of the interviews conducted throughout the week, leading up to today’s games.
The dynamic duo will also preview the rest of the day’s action around the NFL, which includes just one game between two teams with a winning record.

Join us as we study the prayers of Paul, Jesus and others in the bible and learn to use their words as a model for your own prayers. We will personalize them for ourselves and for others and pray them for amazing results. We will also look at the prayers of King David in the book of Psalms. Andrew Murray says " True prayer, that takes hold of God's strength, that availeth much, to which the gates of heaven are really opened wide-who would not cry, 'Oh, for someone to teach me thus to pray'?" He concludes, "Jesus has opened a school, in which He trains His redeemed ones, who specially desire it, to have power in prayer." Prepare to take your prayer life to the next level as we pray the word of God. Your prayer life will be transformed. Tell a friend and join us for the discussion on prayer.
