After weeks of technical difficulties and getting ready for school, Hunter Crowther (@HunterCrowther) and Chris Shannon (@ChrisShannon16) are back to host another season of The Hockey Guys Podcast!
Hunter and Chris talk about Cody Franson's summer in free agency, if the Buffalo Sabres are as bad as we think they are, and which teams could miss the playoffs next season.
Have the Toronto Maple Leafs done anything wrong this off-season? Is Tim Tebow still relevant in 2015? Why do we talk about Tom Brady and DeflateGate on the show? All these questions -- and more -- answered on the pod.
The fun part of the summer is hey at some point it has to approach an end. It is September therefore it is fantasy hockey talk time. On Fantasy Hockey X tonight, we talk about quite a few topics and some things that people may not want to hear about. Michael Clifford and Christopher Pacheco flank me as always and DFS Hockey is the game.
Yes we will have a segment this year dedicated to season long leagues. As a matter of fact, quite a few of us DFS players will be doing at least one industry wide season long league.
Tuesday night will feature a little of everything and also a bit of an announcement too that has been probably eight years in the making but you will have to listen to find out.
Expect the usual fireworks as we always have on the show. The stakes are raised and expectations will be quite high. Our goal is to deliver on those. The phone number is 1-347-826-7358 and again the fireworks start at 9pm ET.

It's part 2, and Gabe Lezra, Bozz and Mike Platania are back to break down everything that wasn't mentioned in the first preview episode! Gabe admits that he was a bit harsh on Rafa Benitez ¯\_(?)_/¯ in the first show--but he won't retract it!--and allows Bozz and Mike to push back on some of his criticism. That being said, the overwhelming negativity isn't entirely transformed into positivity, however, as the guys break down a bunch of Benitez's mis-steps, the De Gea fiasco, and Madrid's prospects moving forward.
Transitioning, the guys take a look at Madrid's 5-0 thrashing of Real Betis in the Bernabéu, praising James Rodriguez, Gareth Bale and the entire squad for looking very strong. Additionally, they get down and dirty talking about the strategy the club is taking, the transfer policy, and generally the ideas going into the club this season.
They end by taking your questions, breaking down many of the angles listeners brought up on Twitter and via email.

He joins us on this broadcast to chat about the agency's roster of fighting stars and prospects, and we'll also discuss his background in promoting the smaller circuit fights himself. This episode will also have Tony, Tom and Rich discussing Berto vs.Mayweather, Canelo vs. Cotto, Pacquiao and Mayweather closing the doors on their respective careers and UFC 191. Does John Dodson have a shot at stopping "Mighty Mouse" from continuing his dominant win streak? Will Holly Holm really have enough time to work at Greg Jackson's to refine her skills to face Ronda Rousey now that the fight's been moved up? We'll try to answer these questions and update everyone on the news shaking the wrestling world:Jimmy Snuka's murder case...and Vince McMahon's interesting involvement in the initial interrogation of "Superfly."
Football is finally here!!! . . . Well, at least the minor league collegiate version, but that will hold us over for the week. Nonetheless, it seems the entire program will be dominated by NFL chat.
Judge Berman shocked everyone this morning by ruling against Roger Goddell and completely vacated Tom Brady’s entire 4-game suspension. WOW there’s sure to be some serious reaction to this decision.
As we’re about to start the NFL season, apparently there are some teams with questionable quarterbacks top to bottom . . . and also, some coaches who currently find themselves on the “hot seat.” Seriously we can’t make this stuff up
Jake Marsing of MileHighHuddle.com joins us to take a look at the Denver Broncos, Peyton Manning, Gary Kubiak and the real possibility of the San Diego Chargers ruling the AFC West.
What about shortening the NFL pre-season schedule? How about just getting rid of it altogether? Oh, and there are some pretty wacky pre-season predicts out there.
Finally, we’ll be joined in by our Frat House Sports buddy Matt DiBiase for our weekly NHL-NBA update looking at trade rumors around Patrick Kane; the passing of Al Arbour, and advertising EVERYWHERE!
It’ll be another lively and fast-moving Frat House Sports Show you absolutely want to be a part of by jumping in at 347 – 826 – 9964.
