Some believe as science purports that consciousness is a result of cognition. As a near death experiencer, I believe that it is the other way around, and that congition is a result of consciousness. Well, science may be answering the question of "apples" and near death experiencers may be answering the question of "oranges". Therein is the dilemma.
The soul is consciousness and the sum total of self. Next week we answer the remaining questions: Where does the soul come from? What is the soul made out of? What are the attributes of soul? Can the soul die? Don't miss this one!

Some “think they can have a personal, direct, immediate relationship with Jesus Christ outside of the communion and the mediation of the Church. Such temptations are dangerous and harmful. They are, in the words of the great Pope Paul VI, absurd dichotomies.”

Well, on this week's show, we will have some fun by sharing the things that make us ask or say "Now ain't this some sh**t...?!"
But as always, we will be disecting these things that are so mind-boggling and that drive us crazy and that make us go "hmmm...." Why are things the way they are and why do people do the things they do and what are the causes, effects and consequences? What can we do? How can we make a difference?

Your own jealousies, competitiveness, in-fighting, unwillingness to support one another and pettiness with other black people is what’s keeping you from moving forward. You have people who say that they support you, but when it comes time to show that support they are nowhere to be found. Hmmm. There is enough food out here to eat for everyone, so why are we so afraid that if we help one another that we will no longer be able to eat! Hmmm! Take a look arounnd you and take notice of the culture of people who are excelling in businesses, guess what, they support one another. Hmmm SO WHY CAN'T WE!!!!

This installment of The Forbidden Fruit radio show will ask the question, What to the black person is the Fourth of July?" This a slight variation on the title of Frederick Douglass's 1852 speach entitled "What to the Slave is the Fourth of July?'How are black people of the United States connected to this anual celebration? What did black people have to celebrate on that original day back in 1776? How do you celebrate something that had nothing to do with you in the first place? I'm just saying....doesn't it make you go hmmm when you really THINK about it.
Let's talk about this here on The Forbidden Fruit radio show WORLDWIDE.
