3 Reasons You Are Impatient with Time

    in Business

Today people are constantly sharing with each other how busy they are. They have so many competing priorities they don’t know where to start. Big to-do lists seem to get bigger not smaller. Part of the problem is cultural. According to an old book called "The stuff Americans Are Made Of" by James Hammond and James Morrison, says one of the 7 cultural forces that define Americans is "Impatience with Time".  This impatience leads us into all kinds of trouble with impulsive behavior. This impatience goes against the benefits of structure such as planning. One thing that we do all need regardless of our personality type and skills is structure. Many people feel like adding structure takes away from their creativity or fun, in reality it removes stress and adds to the fun and creativity. We are going to explore these ideas further with todays guest.

    Today you will learn:

The right way to organize your to-do list (and why almost nobody does this)
The right and wrong way to "be productive"
Why you want to be careful not to believe everything you read

Ultimate Trekking Adventure-Everest Base Camp, Nepal Part 1

    in Travel

It’s one of the most coveted treks in the world. Everest Base Camp, Nepal. Far East Adventure Travel is proud to present two podcasts completely devoted to the magic of trekking this region. From crossing the sometimes trecherous Chola Pass to the final steps arriving at Everest Base Camp. And an early morning ascent of Kala Patthar for one of the best views of Everest in all of Nepal. Join me John Saboe for one of Asia’s great adventures. Trekking to Everest Base Camp.

Everest Base Camp, Nepal. Right from the start I was in for a hair raising experience. The flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, rated as one of the most dangerous airports in the world is often canceled in October, the busy season due to weather conditions. If it’s not cloudy or windy in Lukla, it is in Kathmandu, making it extremely tricky to complete scheduled flights. You can be stranded in Lukla for days waiting for a weather window. Same this goes in Kathmandu. Days!

You can avoid the whole worry of flight delays and dangerous weather conditions by trekking all the way to Lukla.  Take a bus from Kathmandu to Jiri, about 9 hours. Then just walk for a week! For me, I was extremely lucky  to be on one of the first flights that day from Kathmandu to the start of the trek with favorable weather conditions.

Nite Callers Bigfoot Radio Presents: Florida Bigfoot Researcher Dave Sidoti

    in Paranormal

David Sidoti started this research back in 1995, doing basic armchair research, reading thousands of eye witness reports and reading various books so he could learn about these incredible creatures based on reported eye witness accounts. He began field research in 1998 and now has over 20 years’ experience with research, most of that field work. As a child at age 7,Dave and his brother use to play in the woods every day. There was no staying inside unless it was raining or homework. They loved being outdoors, exploring the woods and building forts. Dave loves going camping, hiking, kayaking, and honing his survival and tracking skills.Dave has  a great love for animals. For the past 6 years he began an interest in survival skills useing in his day to day life.  Like many researchers Nite Callers has interviewed, Dave became interested in researching these creatures is when he and his brother watched the Patterson/Gimlin film on a show called “In search Of” back in the late 70’s and the docudrama of The legend of Boggy Creek. Dave joined with a large group in 1998, investigating eye witness’s encounters, then left that group after a year.In 2000 Dave founded the research team called Independent Sasquatch Research Team (ISRT) www.ISRTUSA.com, and it’s still going strong today. The ISRT is developed for people who want to work with other independent researchers with a common goal. The team only works with legit researchers and the scientific academic realm that has immaculate credentials. ISRT team and many others in the near future are affiliating with each other as a network of INDEPENDENT organizations willing to share their research in hopes of solving this mystery.
