The Romance Bookmark is back and tonight we have Marlow Kelly on the show for a dose of our unscripted and highly unprofessional brand of author chatting. Let's face it, the less I prepare, the better it turns out! But please take a peek at www.marlowkelly.com and discover Marlow Kelly's historical romances with a touch of suspense, along with all the fun that goes with her blog, her recipes and the madness of being the mother of two while trying to get anything done! (I'm hoping she'll spill some secrets on that front!)
Do you ever long to go back in time where men "came to call on a woman" at her home or girls were expected to "keep a tidy home?" Let's venture into the world of the historical romance
We interview Marlene Banks, a novelist fueled by her faith. She blends engaging plots, stand out characters, memorable events with spiritual insight and application in her stories. She is well known for her historical romances like her most recent Son of a Preacher Man set in Tulsa, Oklahoma's Greenwood District. She claims Jesus The Christ is the real Author and Finisher of her faith and her fiction because each of her novels introduces conflict and how a relationship with Christ helps the people win out in the end.
Talk radio host managing editor of NEWD Magazine Tiffani Knowles and Crystal Dundas gab for an hour about trends, music, faith and much more. Every week we interview a super cool guest appealing to a faith-filled, urban twentysomething market.

Love, laughter and books always have a place at The Romance Bookmark and this week, I'm happy to say, I have a comfy chair ready for none other than Suzan Tisdale, self-proclaimed Storyteller, Author and Cheeky Wench. www.suzantisdale.com And I'm not too humble to admit that she had me at Cheeky...but the Wench thing pretty much sealed her fate as my new favorite and top of the TBR pile! I'm not sure why Scottish romances are just curling my happy toes these days... (It could be the kilts but I keep telling myself that it has to to do with the lovely scenery and my admiration for cultural frugality and self-reliance. I'm a terrible liar.) Come pull up a chair of your own and meet Suzan Tisdale! And then get ready to hit that "Buy" button, dear friends, because you'll want to load up on her wonderful series...

tonight on our show we are talking about a very serious matter... the death of romance. in today's turn up society more and more we are hearing that romance does not exist or at least is not as necessary anymore. our youth today believe that the end goal is always the same "to get lucky" so why invest so much emotionally into obtaining that goal. so we ask you in your opinion does romance still have a place in Young America? Or should we just change the definition of romance?
Love, laughter and BOOKS! Life is complete but it's always nice to stop at The Romance Bookmark and see if we can add anything good to our shelves to make Life Even Better! Sometimes we get so "religious" that our relationships become little more than a ritual. We forget how to "woo" that special person in our lives that we married, and settle into the routine of work, home, children, cleaning, paying bills. At home, we don't dress up around each other, we don't wear cologne or perfume, we don't comb our hair, we don't shave. We just figure our spouse will love us anyway, just as we are. We may not even make an effort to put that sweet tone in our voice when we speak. After a while, the marriage becomes boring. Although our morals may keep us from looking outside our marriage for excitement, we feel like something is missing. Well, it is. We forgot to keep the romance in our marriage. Today's guest, relationship counselor Bilal Stroud, helps us remember how to rekindle that fire that may be slowly going out, so that we can once again enjoy that special person in your life.
