Margie Lopez Read, artist and donating all the proceeds of her art
Margie Lopez Read paintings, and or prints of paintings are traded for a check made out to a worthwhile organization that the buyer and Margie agree upon.
I had the sheer joy to be part of the original show that Armando Sanchez did on his network I learned so much that I had to invite onto to my show.
I found the idea of doing incredible artwork and then donating the purchase price back to non-profit, to be incredibly intriguing
I did a bit of research on her web site www.margies-art.com and Facebook: Donation Art, and discovering such art work as, Rosa-Big Sweetness and Sutter Buttes (both I could feel connection to) makes me believe this will be a great show and I really look forward to it
"Art is life and not worth much unless it helps make the world just a little bit better in one way or another."
Art has been important to Margie her whole life, influenced in large part by her grandmother Margie Cooper, who was an accomplished painter.
She states, "All of that is fun, but I want my art to do more. You see, I believe that art is at its best when it teaches, records a memory, tells a story, or provokes thought. It is better still if it can be used to raise funds for worthwhile non-profit programs that improve the condition of our world." and " Please feel good about what you have done to make the world a better place and have joyous and peaceful times during this holiday season."

On Thursday President Obama used executive action on immigration, resulting in changes to how millions of undocumented immigrants can be eligible for temporary status. While Republicans have been extremely critical of the latest news, some in the immigrant rights community have criticized the President, saying it wasn't enough. When can eligible immigrants sign up? We will discuss all this and more with special guest Hairo Cortes, member of the Orange County Immigrant Youth United. Call in (347) 308-8633 to join the convo.
Unfortunately, the Republican Party is not devoid of guilt in the amnesty matter as seen in The Senate Immigration Law Hurts All Americans. It appears neither side understands this is truly not a debate about politics or social justice, but rather a debacle for legal American citizens. The two sides are playing a game of chess to court the vote of the Hispanic community. In the meantime, they are encouraging illegal action, such as the use of undocumented workers by businesses (see Push to Protect Farm Workers). This is done solely for the purpose of winning future elections, and is done at the expense of the legal American worker and companies who do business with integrity!
And where are the American labor unions now, when they could utilize their organizing abilities and political influence to actually protect their membership and do what is right for America?

Faith will be what gets you in the door. God says we are going to the "Big House!" Many of you are aware that you are going to the "Big House!" God says you are packing too many things while trying to make it. Some people are quitting because they are worn out and some have not begun because they are looking at the complexity of even traveling.
God says step out on Faith and leave all the bags behind. God has everything you need to make it to your destination, but it is you (say your name) who is hindering your own blessing (s). It is time to regain your strength and go where God wants to take you. You only need your faith. God says you can make the journey, it is the weight that you are carrying that is holding you.
Segment #2-I am getting ready to launch our Built2Last Conference. This conference is to save our youth. We need systems in place and we need to train and teach our youth. Special emphasis will be on our young men of all races and our young ladies. The murders in the AA population are as following (Black on Black crime, Murder period). In the Caucasion race, we see (Murder Suicide) and the Hispanic culture (Murder, but that has gone down). A few months ago (20 weeks ago), I researchd the AA males who were killed on the street by police for whatever reason and the numbers are climbing so that by tomorrow my data will be inaccurate. We need this program that is coming and we are starting in Waco. We have to save our youth (ALL youth) no matter what age, race or background.
