The issues of divorce, infidelity, abuse, uncontrollable children and etc…continue to plague our families. This leads us to ask ourselves the following questions: Why are these things happening? What was God’s original design for the family? How have we as a society changed the original design? What can be done to rebuild the family unit? On tonight’s show we will discuss the reasons we are seeing more and more broken families, specific roles within the family unit and how our families can be repaired! Join us Feb. 5 8PM

My journey led me to many paths culminating in my studying A Course In Miracles. With my previous understanding from other paths......be they religious, meditative or academic........I realized ACIM teaches all these 'wisdoms' and more.......it is NOT what many think - another religion or delicacy on the spiritual buffet - though it CAN be that for you if that is what you want. But it can also take you to the highest pinnacle of understanding that shows us in a very profound way how EVERYTHING can be used to lead us there or to lead us astray.........and it all depends on our choice!

About The Black Family Technology Awareness Association (BFTAA)
As the Black Community grows in size and influence, it is vital for this group and the nation that the gap in technological empowerment between Blacks and the U.S. mainstream be closed.
These "gaps" cause the Black Community to literally become left behind in many situations of life, including advancements at place of employment, benefits in health care, funding for education, home-ownership or automobiles

in Self Help
Guilt can be an unrelenting source of pain, keeping us stuck in the past and preventing us from being present and loving ourselves and others. Guilt may simmer in our unconscious, or we may condemn ourselves–not once, but over and over. Either way, toxic guilt is insidious and destructive and can sabotage our goals and relationships. It lowers our self-esteem and makes us easy targets for blame and manipulation. Unresolved guilt can cause anger and resentment, not only at ourselves, but also toward others.
Today's special guest, Darlene Lancer is author of several books including Codependency for Dummies and the new book Freedom from Guilt and Blame: Finding Self-Forgiveness, a step-by-step workbook for healing guilt and finding self-forgiveness and self-compassion.
Freedom from Guilt and Blame is designed to free you from guilt’s grip. It will help you sort out healthy from toxic guilt and distinguish it from other emotions, such as shame and regret. You're guided to review and assess your values, motives, responsibilities, actions, and beliefs, and understand the negative impact of perfectionism and codependency.
Darlene Lancer, JD, MFT is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and relationship and codependency expert. Over the course of 25 years, she has helped men and women recover from trauma, achieve greater self-esteem and autonomy, and find their paths personally and professionally.
This is Darlene's third guest appearance on A Fine Time for Healing.

It's time to get serious about eternal life in Jesus. No more cosmic values, or cosmic attitudes. The things of this world have no place in the lives of believing ones. If we are truly being transformed from glory, to glory then we are becoming more like Jesus. This process of Christlikeness is to be our greatest desire. It must become our singular purpose. When Jesus was here during his public ministry he never lost focus of his mission. He was tempted by the enemy to abandon the will of God, but he did not. Many of the saints today are still wearing the grave clothes of the old life because they will not give up the destructive idolatries of the past.
