Dan Blanchard the Award Winning Author, Speaker, Educator two-time Junior Olympian Wrestler, and two-time Junior Olympian Wrestling Coach grew up as a student-athlete. Has Rioting Ever Accomplished Anything? What If I Told You That It Has.

    in Current Events

Today on Coffee, Current Events & Politics, we're going to finish our discussion from last week about how government legsliation, policy and social codes created the troubled inner cities that seem to be social pressure cookers about to blow today.  We'll talk about a few contributing factors that we missed last week, such as the New Deal in the 30s and the Federal Highway Act of 1956.

We'll also talk about riots.  Specifically, we want to answer the question "Has rioting ever accomplished anything?"  Because in the not-so-distant past, rioting actually DID accomplish something, and it was something very significant.

If you want to know what it was and why it's so important to today's growing social unrest, bring your mug and we'll pour you a cup of strong coffee.
