Dave King and Sean Sullivan join Jim Coughenour to discuss the return of NBA basketball, with training camp starting next week.
While actual on court topics aren't quite here yet, the ongoing antics of Markieff Morris always merit a chuckle and there are other things to cover, such as NBA 2K16 ratings and ESPN future power rankings... which can also induce laughter...
This will be the last episode this calendar year with no actual basketball activities to dissect.
Of course, there is one preseason topic everyone will be keeping an eye on.
What would a fireside chat be without a little discourse on the inimitable Markieff Morris?
How will he act at media day? What should the Suns do with him? Will he do a read for our podcast intro?
After we talk shop with Markieff the Suns will be headed up to Flagstaff for camp before coming back for a free intrasquad scrimmage at the Madhouse on McDowell on Saturday, October 3rd at 6:00 pm.
Dave and I formulate a plan to hunt down the person who made the ill-advised decision to enunciate each letter in the P H X slogan instead of going with the more palatable "We are Phoenix" approach.
We will find you.
NBA 2K16 has released its full set of player rankings. Shockingly, no Suns cracked the top 10 at any position. Dave rips the game, not for it's ranking system... but for its animation... Who knew Dave was a gamer?
ESPN also decided to take a dump on the Suns... squeezing out a big double deuce (#22) future power ranking for the team. It seems just a tad low considering the Suns have been one of the nine worst teams in the league just once in their current five year playoff drought. Just when you think it can't get any worse... here comes the flagship.
Then, in the wake of Anthony Bennett's continuing plummet from grace, Dave and I redraft the top of the truly horrible 2013 class. Would the Suns still draft Alex Len fifth knowing what they know now?
Welcome and I pray have a great time in the Lord. This episode is about not fearing and having what God has for you. In this end time revival, we need to just step out and faith and push back the devil. We need to see signs and wonders.
This is an important episode if you want to be used by God.
Don't be like the Israelites when they went to spy out the promise land. Know you can have your promises.
Renowned Psychic Shenice Neeci Jones is on her way back to bless us with readings and conversation on this Urban Therapy with SUN Show!
Many of you may remember her from her past appearances on the show and she is coming back to bless us once more with readings and healings. You know we all need it and Ms. Jones will be here this Wed. to deliver them to us. You know you wanna hear about your future, your past and get some clarity about what's going on here and now.
We will also be talking to Neeci about love and money and why so many of us struggle to get and maintain either or both. Which one comes easier to you? Why is it that some people seem to be able to make money without even trying while others struggle so hard all their lives to make ends meet? Why do some people seem to be able to find healthy relationships that they are able to throw away while others can't see to find a soul mate to save their lives? Does it seem like that from the outside looking in or is it really real? What y'all know about that?
Let's find out. Come through this Wednesday and get your reading and some direction

We must experience God fresh and new. We should get filled and refilled continually. In the program you will hear a testimony and fresh revivaltion that God is giving. I enourage you to have what God has for you now. He wants to touch you.
God isn't limited to how you think He should touch you. He wants to touch you fresh and new, daily even.
God so loves us He want to just love on us. He wants to pull us close and hold us tight.
You've probably heard many of the stories of people's potential success going by the wayside just because they wouldn't change this or that about themselves. The thug genius who chose crime over the straight life even though he could make it going straight. The really pretty and talented girl that always chose the man that brought her down instead of the one that might've lifted her up. How many people do we know that have gone in and out of jail talking about they're gonna stay out for good this time?
Sometimes it happens in subtle ways like when people do well in a field of work but won't take a higher position for whatever reason or have to find a new job because the company they worked for wants them to relocate or travel more. The woman that can't move up in her job because she gets pregnant too much and her company needs someone that is more dependable. Perhaps some people are afraid that success will alienate them from the people that they hang around with or make them a little Bourgoise?
Some people who are addicted to the strugglae call it "Keeping it real" or being "Loyal to the hood". Are the rules of the hood that you can't advance or that you can't work your way up to a safer hood? What do you think? Do you know anything about this situation?
That's what we'll be talking about this week. Check it out. Offer input. Learn something. Teach something.
The Sunday Show is a roundtable discussion between a progressive (author Jack Jodell - The Saturday Afternoon Post), a conservative (F. Wayne Johnson, engineer blogger - The Life and Mind of F. Wayne Johnson) & activist (Gwendolyn H. Barry - producer - author) small business owner - Daughters of Isis, inc. On the table for discussion is every week's events as they tumble forth from mainstream & independent media. Sanity is the goal.
Paul Coro from the Arizona Republic joins the show to discuss the foolishness surrounding Marcus Morris's twitter bonanza, Summer League and the rest of the team's moves this offseason.
In addition to Coro, Dave King and Jim Coughenour examine the ruckus caused by ex-Sun Marcus Morris and whether it might be cause for concern with his twin brother, and current Sun, Markieff Morris.
Is the Suns organization partly at fault for the scorched earth nature of recent player departures and should the team finish cleaning house? Does a trade of Markieff for less than equal current talent have minatory implications on the team's 2016 playoff hopes?
This episode is all Morrii... because these guys are such a charming pair to fawn over.
We'll try to keep the clowning around to a minimum.

And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.
2 And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.
3 And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.
4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.
5 And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.
6 And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.
7 And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men.
8 And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions.
9 And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle.
10 And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months.
11 And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.
