Listen, some of us who are fans could give you the background of Lynne Fiddmont in our SLEEP - because it's just so cool! Lynne was raised in St. Louis and had QUITE the musical family - Aunts, Uncles, Cousin Leon, Brother Keith. Lynne didn't realize the gift that SHE had until she saw "The Wiz" at 15 with her Mom. Something awakened in her and she decided to be fearless. She got a role in "Our Town" that year - and she actually won the part of DOROTHY in "The Wiz" soon afterwards! And NO ONE was more surprised than Lynne when she received a standing ovation when she sang "Home." Because she didn't realize that she could SING :) Life wasn't without challenges but our guest ROSE to them - Drake University, Boston U (public relations), singing in Boston Commons - where she was offered a full scholarship to Berklee by a Professor - then onwards to Los Angeles. A sight-unseen gig with the Crusaders, Bill Withers, Lou Rawls, Stevie Wonder, George Duke - Lynne Fiddmont has seen the world because of THAT voice.
The wonderful thing about Lynne's journey? Her friendships. One of the strong bonds: Walter Beasley. California born Walter has been a favorite of many for a long time - Lynne's included in the WIDE circle. Saxophonist, Singer, Composer, Producer, Professor (Berklee!) and mentor for grateful students all over the world. Our friend has been beloved in our Baltimore/DC region for quite some time - and he is returning in the next several days! Lynne will be a part of the festivities, too -- and that is exactly why we're having this reunion on 9/2! Walter has his own series of shows at Blues Alley in Washington. But Lynne joins him at Ram's Head in Annapolis during the first weekend of September.

Jack was one of the first hearing-impaired babies identified in Georgia through the Universal Newborn Hearing Screening program. He received his first pair of behind-the-ear hearing aids when he was 6 weeks old. His parents, teachers and audiologists went to great lengths to make sure he learned and developed like any other kid in America. At 11 years old, he was fortunate to go on a mission trip to Ghana where he realized that this was his calling in life. Jack believes that his hearing loss is a gift so that he can help others who also have loss of hearing.
On his return from Ghana, Jack told his parents he wanted to start a foundation to raise money for hearing aids, audiology care and other hearing expenses that many insurances do not cover. Jack was motivated to make a difference in the lives of kids with hearing loss. He believed that he had been blessed with the care that he needed and therefore, wanted to be able to bless other people with the same level of care. Thus, 20/20 Hearing was formed and is now a 501-(c)(3) non-profit. Its mission is to give the gift of hearing and a better future to those less fortunate around the world.
Aside from this extraordinary mission, Jack is a typical 7th grade young man. He loves to play lacrosse and follows the Duke Blue Devils lax team closely. His fun loving nature is enjoyed by all that are around him.
Our website will give more information of the mission trips that he has been on. www.2020Hearing.org
We have given financial assistance to 4 children since August and currently are in the process of funding 2 more. We will be helping the deaf community in Leveque, Haiti. This is one of the largest deaf communities in the Caribbean, with over 160 families affected by hearing loss. Jack hopes to help as many people as possible. Jack always says, “It’s a small world so let’s all make a big difference!”

This episode of Pneumatikos will explore the power of Jesus to heal those who suffer demonic control of the personality. It is unfortunate that the western church has sacrificed its healing and redemptive mandate for fleeting relevance on popular social issues. Persons today suffer from more than unfortunate neurochemical imbalances or mystifying psychologic disorders. Persons today also suffer from the influence or aggravated discontinuities of evil supernaturalism. We can no longer afford to merely seek an explanation within the cultural box for the terrible evils that mark our world.
As the saints of God we have been given the authority to possess territories. In the Name of Jesus we can tear down satan's strongholds. We can rebuke devils, bind and loose on earth and in heaven. Angels can be dispatched, serpents treaded over and prayers for the sick can be made and they shall recover. Ironically, all these are things we expect out God because we are his people. We should also ask ourselves this question: What does God expect from us....as His People? Tune in live (3/29/15) or download this broadcast and find out out to position yourself to be a vessel in the hand of God! Possesing your vessel moves you from a religious mindset to understanding the meaning of your convenant relationship with the Father through Jesus Christ. Becoming more like Jesus Christ is the focus of every true believer. This message will help you to understand how to do accomplish that.

Proverbs 25:25 As cold water to a weary soul, So is good news from a far country.
All things are possible to them that believe, I believe!
20 He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions.
Blessed is the man that finds wisdom because length of days is in her right hand and riches and honor in her left hand.
2 Peter 1:2-7
3 ... His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, 4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
The more we produce scholarship, the more we are dedicate ourselves as masons to the pursuit of ethics and priniciples the more we reach out to like minded men. Comparing us to a country club does a deservice to the country club and the Craft. They meet entirely different needs. We have our place when a man needs it? Intellectually, we dip into this reservoir as much as we need at a given moment. The individual determines the interval. A summons is only a call out. Filling seats is a different task. In fairness, we have extended the season. Each season, year by year our lands became crowded. He cannot expect time to stretch and neither do we. Better to avoid any pretence of imposition and to present ourselves as indifferent to a mans life.
Showing him dedication is an obligation the better students offer to the new boys. Thoughtful discussion, encouraging his questions, meeting his needs; these are aspects we at times overlook. Perhaps this accounts for those who drop out before the 3rd Degree, but not likely. We initiate a great number in hopes of finding the worthy. It's a pretty big seive and many fall through the grid- no worries- it was meant to be that way. Perhaps he will return- best respect his decision and not chastise or chase.
As we improve our skills, we can begin through our work to express gentle expression and emotion. Leave it to the new boys to punch too hard, too often and have hope they will eventually find just the right touch- the OMG moments- after all- it isn't called the Gentle Craft for nothing.
Join us this morning as we share concerning the role of the Holy Spirit and how we're to live the life of Christ.
Galatians 2:I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
We will be Empowered!
