    in Health

I will highlight the advantages of my new affiliation for direct ordering capabilities with Tropical Traditions.

This is yet another BH Sales Creative Solution to acquiring safe non GMO  products. Tropical Traditions  offers superior products and their customer service is an added benefit - both qualities are equally important! Tropical Traditions is a principles driven company that cares about all stages of bringing the products they source and sell to market.

They work directly with small family farmers in the Philippines and other places, thereby assuring both a specific quality of product as well as the fair compensation of the producers of that product. And for their customers they find inventive ways to keep prices down by offering regular sales as well as offering a buying club that one can use any time to get below sale prices by buying in bulk.

They always meet or exceed quality control of ingredients-
an outstanding company in every aspect of their business.  Their products are excellent and you will be able to purchase many of the same organic products at a better price than when you can purchase them at the store, and you will save the time and money of driving to the store. It's Your World Big Girl...Summertime TIPS!

    in Lifestyle

    Personal Care TIP:
It's Beginning to get warm outside and temperatures are expected to soar for the summertime...
So here are a few of my tips to help keep you fresh and clean.
I'm aware that this subject can be taboo, but for some, it's NEEDED.

5 Easy Steps to keep you SPRING FRESH and CLEAN ALL DAY!

    1. SHOWER MORE FREQUENTLY: During the Summer months the body perspires more which could give off a foul odor if you tend to sweat profusely! Try to fit in an additional shower between meetings to avoid embarrassment. If you work a long day and cannot get to a shower…

    2. BE SURE TO CARRY A WASH CLOTH AND SOAP and Baby wipes, or Feminine wipes in your purse and use some of your break time to wash yourself in the ladies room and…

    3. CHANGE YOUR UNDER GARMENTS and panty liners! Even if you’re NOT on your period, panty liners will keep your feminine area clean and your panties fresh.

    4. AVOID HEAVY PERFUMES: Do not, I REPEAT, DO NOT wear the same fragrances for Summer that you wore all Fall and Winter! Choose a lighter scent. Heavy perfumes on a sweaty body will only intensify an ALREADY bad smell…and NEVER EVER EVER SPRAY PERFUME ON A DIRTY BODY!

    5. WATCH YOUR DIET!!! Remember, what goes in SHOWS OUT!!!! If you choose to eat greasy fried foods, and starchy salty foods, you will actually begin to LOOK GREASY!!! You will feel weighted down and HOT, your cholesterol levels will intensify with souring temperatures, and you’ll just feel and look YUCKY!!! Choose organic fruits, veggies, oats, and grains! Stay hydrated with water!

***Keep your face clean and revamp your makeup routine as well. Instead of a full coverage foundation go for a light BB Cream, skip the heavy contouring, and choose a light pigmented go to lip-gloss!
    Enjoying a FEMININE FRESH SUMMER...

EMBRACE YOUR NEW GROWTH "HEALTHY HAIR STARS WITH THE SCALP "

    in Culture

The natural hair/loc lifestyle is a growing one. Everyday more women are deciding to embrace their natural texture and give up the "creamy crack" and more men are deciding to stop running to their barbers every 2 weeks. Though there are more and more people chosing to lock their hair, the loc lifestyle has changed drastically. Growing locs was once about the lifestyle and culture, but now its become commercialized, it's about style and fashion, using popular products, and most importantly a quick way to make money for some. The word "health" does not come to mind when most folks think about locs, which is unfortunate because the health of your hair is the most important part of your Loc journey, and that health starts from the scalp. The hair on your head ONLY grows from one place, YOUR SCALP. If your scalp is unhealthy, damaged, clogged with products, dried out from using dryers, then the chances of your locs being unhealthy is great. We are obsessed with techniques, styles, products, neatness, etc, while or scalps are being ignored. I say this to all my clients, "your hair is like a plant. If you don't take care of the soil, your plant will die". Take care of your scalp so you can grow a beautiful and healthy crown. For more information on locs care visit my website and don't forget to check out my radio show tonight @ 9 pm Eastern time and also subscribe to my youtube videos. Left for the Marines when I was 19, Met my wife Nicola when lived in Istanbul Turkey also lived in San Salvador, El Salvador.Early Retired Police officer due to a horrific Motorcycle accident.Co created Chow & Zen Health, Healing and Massage with my Wife in early 2011. Our concept is to help heal Mind-Body-Spirit, if we only work on one area the others get missed and or don't release the Pain trapped there. In essence Teaching people how to better care for themselves Mind-body-spirt connection entails Reiki master/teacher, massage, Shakti Initiation, Master hypnotherapist NLP practitioner, Shaman, Theta, Beachbody Coach- P90X qualified P90X certified trainer. Both my wife and I have been in serious accidents that have crippled us from actually living and enjoying our lives. Hence why we do what we do.

Dominick was also involved in another life changing accident while riding his motor bike in 2006, his was far worse.  Medivacked to Morristown hospital he was in serious trouble and actually flat lined.  He had broken, fractured and crushed most of the major bones in  his body and his whole body swelled up to twice its normal size.  After 2 days of surgeries he was in for a long recovery and was told he may not walk again normally and would be very limited with his range of motion. Dominicks attitude key to his recovery.  He turned inwards, he remained positive and determined and very calm & centered throughout the whole ordeal knowing he would come out ok.  After more surgeries and PT and continued TP and massage Dom eventually recovered and walks normally, can run (they said he never would) and has almost full range of motion in all limbs.  To look at him today you would never know he had been through such a traumatic accident.
