On this broadcast, SONSHINE USA Bible teacher Warren Landis begins a series of Bible studies and sermons from Hebrews. On this program Warren will fully explain why he feels that Paul wrote Hebrews. This is a series of Biblical studies for those Christians that are ready for Spiritual meat!
The Book of Hebrews will be exposed and expounded by Pastor Michael Crow and Carnita Smith in a mini series called "Hebrews 101". In the first series on Hebrews 101 the points outlined will be The Preeminence of Chirst, The Preeminence of His Message, The Preeminence of His Glory and The Preeminence of His Rest. The writer of Hebrews defines Christ as high priest of Christianity, superior to the Aaronic priesthood, and the fulfillment of the Law and the Prophets.
Pastor Crow and Carnita Smith will continue in the mini series "Hebrews 101" focusing on "The Pre-Eminence of His Priesthood" chapters 4:14-7:28. When we make Christ, Lord of our life, he is the High Priest that governs our life through the Holy Spirit. With that, we have the freedom to come to the Throne of Grace with reverence and humbleness making our prayers none to Him. Christ is the High Priest that shows his children how to exemplify Him through our living, loving and treating others. He's forgiven our sins by the redemptive call of the Father on the cross, that who so ever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life in heaven. So, make a change in your life and allow the High Priest who is "Better" to reign in your heart and Lord over your life.
TRAILS ARE SHARED BY CHRIST. Hebrews 4:14-16 will reflect this as it reveals that Christ is our Great High Priest who was called to get involved. As Believers of Jesus Christ, we are called to get involved in the lives of others. Crhist faced the realities of life through his suffering, tempted and rejected by many. This is a reality in many of our lives today, because of our confession of faith we will experience suffering, temptation and rejection. Christ tells us to be of good cheer, I have overcome the world according to John 16:33. Let us come to the throne of grace with confidence.
FAITH, the certainty of receiving what God has promised but not yet given (Heb 11:1,2,39,40). Old Testament faith highlighted in chapter 11 of Hebrews encourages us to endure to the end that we might have hope according to Romans 15:4 which states "For everything that was written in the past was to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope". James 1:2-4 tells us to "consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trails of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your FAITH produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything". Join Pastor Crow and Carnita Smith in this series of "HEBREWS 101"
The book of Hebrews is a book rich in foundational Christian doctrine, it gives us encouraging examples of God's "faith heroes" who perservered in spite of great difficulties and adverse circumstances according to Hebrews 11. We are to maintain perfect confidence in God's rich promises, regardless of our circumstances. We are to encourage one another in this race of faith which is found in the person and work of Christ, who has gone before us as the "Founder and Perfecter of our faith" Pastor Michael Crow and Carnita Smith will conclude the series HEBREWS 101, focusing on the last two chapters, 12 & 13. We have a "Better Life!".
The Last Program that was done, I found out about the connection of black americans to hebrews. In this program we will talk about how these findings affect bible prophecy according to the Word of God. We reject all forms of racial bigotry we are here to discuss the truth
Tonight we are speaking on the Preeminence of Jesus Christ in all things! As we journey through the book of Hebrews we hope to steal the attention away from the world and back on Him, as he is the exalted King of glory and the rightful heir of all things!
Today there is a war going on in the Middle East and all around the world rumors of wars are being heard as nation rises against nation and kingdom against kingdom prepare for battle. All of these are a sign of the times and it is imperative that the saints of God keep their focus on what is right and what is true. As we look into this rich letter written to the Hebrews two thousand years ago, let's gain a fresh perspective of what was written and the intent for which it was.
Our High Priest is at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty above. That sanctuary is not made by hands of man. Jesus is a Better covenant than the other priests, established on Better promises since He promised Himself to bear our sins on the cross. This Better covenant, God will deal with the hearts of men and women and they will know Him and the mercy of God, see Jer 31:33,34. Pastor Michael Crow and Carnita Smith will usher you through the pages of Hebrews chapers 8-10:18 focusing on a Better Covenant, Better Promises and a Better Sacrifice.
Anger is a dangerous weapon when unleashed without control. He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls. A man who does not control his temper is like a city whose wall is broken down. Proverbs 25:28 God's word will guide us if we allow Him to move in our lives in difficult circumstances. Whether it seem pointless or hopeless, God gives us a way of escape. Join me today your host, Gina Callaway on blogtalkradio.com, A JOURNEY IN THE WORD as we talk about "LOVE CONQUERS ALL.".
Galatians 5:19-21 (KJV)
19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
Hebrews 12:14-15 (NKJV)
14 Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord: 15 looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled;
