Hollywood is smart... .Dang they smart.... Jumping on the worldly definition of "Christianity".. The Sinner's prayer, God's not Dead, Son of God, and the headliner of them all... Heaven is for ReAL...but is it leading to a "DEAD" end.
Question for you, How many line up with Scripture and not just scripts....Do we put our hope in the theology of a 4 year old boy. Do we believe Russell Crowe just because he's Russell Crowe... Or do we simply believe just because a famous pastor said something that made us feel good. God in the Movies
You can find God in the movies, if you look for him.
In Matthew 7:7, we read; “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”
According to this scripture, if you look for God, you will find him. God does not say here that this only applies to worshiping him in your local Church on Sunday morning. You should seek God in everything in your life. If you look for him, you will find him. The opposite is also true. If you look for the evil in this world, you will find that.
Each Wednesday, I will take a movie, or two, and look a bit closer at it. Some days, it might be a sermon designed around a movie. Other days, it might be just a review of a good movie I have found. I don’t have a format in mind for this, or per-conceived idea.
This is meant to be free form and will be adapted depending on how God wants this done and what response and feedback I get.
Come join me on Wednesday nights at 7:00pm MT for “God in the Movies”.

This is our Sunday Sermon and today, VR is talking about the rising of dayspring on high and the blooming of the works of God in us both now and in the life to come, for “what a piece of work is a man! How noble in reason! How infinite in faculty! In form and moving how express and admirable! In action how like an angel! In apprehension how like a god! The beauty of the world! The paragon of animals!”
This is a look at the love of God and the work of God in us, and the title of VR’s message is this:-
‘Who rules the World to Come?’ or, ‘The City of the Future’ or better still ‘Heaven. What’s the real attraction?’
