Join us for HIV/AIDS discussion bringing awareness to the community. Historically, the HIV/AIDS epidemic has affected more men than women. However, if new HIV infections continue at their current rate worldwide, women with HIV may soon outnumber men with HIV. HIV infection impacts a growing number of women in Illinois each year. Nearly 7,000 women in Illinois are currently known to be living with HIV and/or AIDS. Many hundreds of other women are probably living with HIV even though they are unaware of their own infection. HIV/AIDS disproportionately impacts African-American women in Illinois and the United States. Nationally, HIV infection is the leading cause of death for African-American women between the ages of 25 and 34. In Illinois, the number of HIV cases among African-American women continues to climb. Roughly 68 percent of Illinois women living with HIV are African American, while African Americans only make up 15 percent of the Illinois population. Caucasian women account for 16 percent of Illinois women living with HIV, while the Caucasian population represents more than 73 percent of Illinois residents. Latina women represent roughly 11 percent of the HIV/AIDS cases in women, while 13 percent of the Illinois population is Latino. Roughly 4 percent of women with HIV are from Native American, Asian, Pacific Islander and other communities. Women in their 30s are the most likely to be living with HIV/AIDS, and almost all Illinois women living with HIV are between the ages of 20 and 50.
Nicholas Snow welcomes Kevin Stalter, President & Executive Director of The Thrive Tribe Foundation, a peer-led organization that has taken on the bold mission to achieve Zero Transmission of HIV, with or without a cure, by creating communities that connect, support and educate men living with and affected by HIV. With 2000+ members in less than 2 years, they cater to gay men affected by HIV - positive or negative.
Informal gatherings grew larger as one by one, friends of friends began to join. The Brotherhood provided social interaction and also harnessed the experiences of members to support those who were newly diagnosed or were going through challenges. It soon became clear that much as the social gatherings were fun and useful, many of the Brotherhood members had real difficulties accessing medical care, navigating the complex healthcare system and finding available resources. They say, "At our core, we are about eliminating the fear and stigma of HIV by applying today's science to this 30 year virus - so much has changed and yet the message of hope is not being delivered."

God said my people perish for lack of knowledge, so this show is to educate, enlighten and openempower men and women on who we are, and what our purpose is on this earth.
Women want to know why we have so many men not performing in the capacity God had intended from the beginning. Men want to know why women are not the help mate God said she would be.
God said let us make man in our image, and God also said it is not good that man should be alone. So if man is to be like God, and man is not to be alone, what happened? Come find out for yourself up for defeat. , you will be surprised at the answers.
What is our role as men and women? What is our purpose? Come join us as we discuss these important issues. I look forward to hearing you on the show.
Process to surrender California Real Estate License
One question we get from time to time from our real estate clients (brokers or salespersons) is "should I surrender my real estate license" if I am facing a DRE adiministrative hearing for violations of the real estate law or commissioner's regulations for violations such as:
3. Comningling funds
4. Failure to keep improper trust fund records (ex. sepearate beneficiary, control records, or monthly reconcilliations)
5. Dishonest dealing
7. Dual agency violations
8. Failure to deliver MLDS statement for mortgage loans
9. Broker escrow violations
10. Fialure to keep records of real estate transactions for three years (B & P 10148)
My typical reaction is LET"S TAKE A DEEP BREATH, and let's look at the facts of your case and see if we can get through this. This real estate podcast discusses what the surrender option is, how it works, and whether this is a good idea or not.

THE POTLUCK XXIV
Many Christians complicate their relationship with their heavenly Father by not realizing that He is more loving than any physical father could ever be.
All of us need to hear that "still small voice" of God so that we can receive His guidance and know more and more about the plan He has for our lives.
Come and share what God has impressed upon our hearts during the previous week's Bible study. Like a potluck, we will be bringing and sharing the "dishes" of God's Word that He prepared in our hearts. No one is greater of lesser at a potluck; just a loving sharing and discussion should ensue.
Join us as we immerse ourselves in the depth of understanding the Word of God. The phone lines will be open for your questions and/or comments live on air at

Lt. Colonel (retired) Jim Chambers joined the Army in 1969, and served as a Ranger in Vietnam. He started racing sailboats nearly 20 years ago; he and his boat SnowFox have won more trophies than he can count. Jim and I will talk about what led him to deliberately choose a career path filled with adversity, and how the lessons learned in his military career are relevant to facing other challenges on and off the water. I always love hearing his stories, and I think you will, too.
Nina Bingham comes back to Charlotte View with a show that will make you ponder on the role societal stigma has on the mental health in the LGBT community. By sharing her own story of acceptance and transformation (enlightment) Nina hopes to bring awareness on the need of a competent mental health program and professionals who understand the intricancies that the LGBT community has.
Special Guest: Nami James Nesterowicz who will share his story as a transgender
Nina will share her professional and personal opinion on areas such as:
Sexual orientation vs. gender orientation
Same-sex attraction. Can it be corrected or cured?
How do you know you are Gay? Are you born or made?
"Coming Out" the process, safety issues, best practice
Nami James will talk about areas such as:
what it means to be transgender? Transexual? Cross-dresser?
What is gender identity and gender expression?
Is being transgender a mental disorder?
Experiences of violence and victimization are frequent for LGBT individuals, and have long-lasting effects on the individual and the community. Personal, family, and social acceptance of sexual orientation and gender identity affects the mental health and personal safety of LGBT individuals.
Legal discrimination in access to health insurance, employment, housing, marriage, adoption, and retirement benefits. Lack of laws protecting against bullying. Lack of social programs for LGBT youth, adults, and elders. Shortage of health care providers competent in LGBT health
