Clemson University football coach Dabo Swinney caused some controversy this week when he was to be honored by a South Carolina lobbying group opposed to gay rights and same-sex marriage. A petition was started urging him to cancel and he did on his own days later, saying he didn't want to be a distraction and did not want to seem to endorse all the group's views. It raises the question of what responsibility a coach has to a diverse student body and how that might clash with his beliefs.

Everyone that God chooses, He pulls them alone to himself(John 15:15). It cost to be chosen. It cost to be willing to be used by God… But the rewards are non-comparable. My testimony is that you are never alone. Gods promises that He will never leave you or forsake you. He wants to develop that walk in the garden intimacy..like He had with Adam ( Gen. 2:19). God asked me once… Why is it that everything I give, say to you or download in you, you go share, seeking validate with another human being (Mark 12:30). Then God asked me...When is my having intimacy with you alone enough? When is the Comfort that I provide for you fulfilling enough. When will you trust and bask in My goodness alone. When I became fearless enough that only His voice mattered in my life...Then He became first and number one in my life (Joshua 24:15). I choose you Lord! I choose you over people places or things.
