My name is Lori Purdy Faitel,I am a Traumatic Brain Injury/TBI Survivor. And I am your host for THE SCIENCE OF HAPPINESS.I suffered a TBI many years ago, when I was 24 years old. As I speak to you I am 52 years old and very happy to share my age. Like many of us survivors of brain injury; I was clinically dead 3 times so…. it is proper to tell that I almost did not live to be 25, which makes being over 50 a blessing!
Back in the day, everything in my life was a dream come true. I was almost 25 years old, had a recent promotion in business which inspired me with dreams for my future. I was attending college at night, I had recently moved out of my parents home for the first time, I had many friends and I was on the fast track to a future of my dreams with the man I had been in love with, for about 5 years. THEN on a beautiful sunny spring morning as I drove on the freeway to my job a construction truck dropped bales of hay onto my windshield causing me to lose control of my car, spinning off the road and into cement construction material. From that point forward my dreams were taken away. I was diagnosed with a TBI, in a mild coma for 7 days and it took about 6 years of therapy and extensive study before I was able to function like an adult again. I understand that the world is not filled with happiness; But for an hour or so lets concentrate on things that help to create happiness.
My guest on Wednesday will be Tonia Wittkower. She is a TBI survivor who works, is married, hosts a radio show and has made a movie/documentary of how to continue to live her life with a TBI. Lets hear insights from someone who has achieved satisfaction in life and uses her talents to help others.
In today’s program, we’re going to speaking to Silvie Bordeaux, an angel who is helping blind dogs stay safe by providing halos to them! Confused? Don’t worry. Silvie will explain more shortly. Then, after our halftime break, Shannon Keith, the president and founder of the Beagle Freedom Project will be stopping by to talk about her organization’s rescue missions to save dogs from a miserable life and early death in animal testing facilities.
My Guest today is Tammy Waggoner:
I just had to pay around $350.00 U.S.S.A., NWO, worthless greenbacks to get Guardianship of my own handicapped daughter! ARE YOU GOOD WITH THAT? BECAUSE I'M SURE AS HELL NOT! GOD DAMMIT, SHE'S MY DAUGHTER. SHE DOESN'T BELONG TO THE STATE. IF YOU ARE GOOD WITH THAT KIND OF SHIT, THEN F YOU! BE A SLAVE! I DON'T NEED PERMISSION FROM THE GOVERNMENT TO BE GUARDIAN/CARETAKER...HER MOTHER! YOU SHOULD ALL BE ASHAMED OF NOT GETTING OFF YOUR ASSES AND FIGHTING THIS SHIT! MY DAUGHTER BELONGS TO ME AND ME ONLY. WHO DO YOUR CHILDREN BELONG TO?
It was Tammy Waggoner that stepped up to the plate to help get me to the DFW area because she thought I WOULD GET MORE OF AN AUDIENCE and be more effective in my home state. Suddenly now she is being harassed by the state. Tammy is an excellent mother. Her daughter, damaged by vaccines, is beautiful, safe and surrounded by love. I swore I WOULD NEVER STAND BACK AND WATCH ANOTHER CHILD HARMED AFTER WACO. I am within minutes of Tammy when she needs someone. She needs YOUR HELP NOW. SHE NEEDS AN ATTORNEY TO TAKE ON THE STATE AND SHE NEEDS YOUR DONATION.SEND IT WITH HER NAME TO MY PAYPAL DONATION

Every American needs to understand that the entire national press is controlled, and is simply giving you the "news" you are supposed to have. Very soon, all alternative sources of news, including this website, will be shut down. That time draws ever closer. Paranormal Talk Radio
Opened on January 1, 1827 The Genesee County Poor Farm, was created paupers, habitual drunkards, lunatics, the blind, lame or otherwise handicapped, orphans, widows, vagrants, and even a murderer or two. In the 1950s it became the Old County Home & Infirmary. n the 1990s was transformed into a set of shops and later an antiques mall. When the property owners, vendors and shoppers began to notice strange occurrences, Rolling Hills' spooky reputation was born. Sharon and Jerry Coyle have owned the estate since 2009 and has opened for ghost/historical tours. We will feature investigators who have been at the location and will share their real life experiences with us.

BRANDON WOOLEY, Creator of the OWN YOUR OWN Life Systems, is a Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist... so the topics discussed & guests invited will revolve around concepts, tools, systems, & ideas to MASTER BOTH... MONEY & LIFE.
As a graduate of the Wake Up Warrior Academy, Brandon will focus on the CORE 4 CURRICULUM: BODY, BEING, BALANCE, & BUSINESS ... and this 1st episode will revolve around What "OWN YOUR OWN" is and HOW & WHY it applies to YOU.
TRUTH is a key component in everything discussed... not the story we create about ourselves, the world, others, etc.... but OUR TRUTH & seeking that to be the creators God created us to be and not the drama majors we're comfortable being that keeps us disconnected from TRUTH, GOD, OURSELVES, & REALITY.
Brandon took a hard inventory of himself over the past year, realizing how sedated he had become to reality which handicapped his ability to be a LEADER, a DECISION MAKER, & a MAN... society doesn't seem too far from this... this is fuel to the OWN YOUR OWN fire and will be shared here on OWN YOUR OWN Radio...
Before there was Lil Bub or Grumpy Cat, Homer the Wondercat captured everyones heart, and inspired people to appreciate handicapped pets through Gwen Copper's best selling book, Homer's Odyssey. Homer crossed over months ago, but his legacy lives on brighter than ever before. Gwen Cooper joins us in remembrance of the journey and how it changed her life and continues to inspire others.
If you are fans of our guests and new to Pet Radio, please follow our Facebook page. In order to keep bringing quality guests to the show, we need to show our sponsors people are listening! We are sending a care package to each of our guests favorite shelter.
"Mercury was found when he was about 4 days old (just over 5 ounces in weight, and eyes still shut, born about September 3rd/4th 2013), and we believe he was hit with a weed whacker since people in the neighbourhood had been doing yard work in tall grass shortly before he was found. He was taken to our vet, his wounds were cleaned up, and we were then called to care for him since we do a lot of bottle babies and special needs kitties for rescues. We fed him around the clock, and cleaned his wounds multiple times a day until they fully closed over. As far as bottle babies are concerned, he was actually very calm and content, only crying when he was hungry or wanting a cuddle. He grew well, and from the very start he would move on his own."
Mercury suffered severe injuries and has made remarkable progress. You will hear the heart warming story of raising Mercury.
Phone lines will be open to speak to both guests. For more information about rescue cats, please visit our web site.
Co-hosts for this premier episode are Mr. Rob Swinson, Neverland Park HIStorian & Author of Maker of Dreams - Creating Michael Jackson's "Neverland Valley Park," and Dr. Jeremy Crosby, a renown specialist in the treatment of military veterans suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). They will discuss the background and purpose as they relate to Mr. Swinson's beautiful new book about the creation of Michael Jackson's fantasy "Neverland Dream" into reality that he shared with many underprivileged, handicapped and terminally ill children who were among the guests at Neverland Valley Ranch. This 224 page book includes personal stories and almost 200 color photos documenting the early years developing the amusement park site at Neverland that began as "bare dirt" ringed by some magnificent oak trees. Written with the reader in mind, Mr. Swinson's narative will create mental images as the stories unfold that sometimes make you laugh, while others may prompt a few tears.
All printed "Maker of Dreams" orders received by this weekend will be inscribed and dated Aug. 29, 2014. A beautiful bonus 8" X 10" color photo of author and Michael Jackson will be certified, signed and dated on the back by author. NWP welcomes the legend and the man, Charlie Daniels!
From his Dove Award winning gospel albums to his genre-defining Southern rock anthems and his CMA Award-winning country hits, few artists have left a more indelible mark on America’s musical landscape than Charlie Daniels. An outspoken patriot, beloved mentor to young artists and still a road warrior at age 76, Charlie has parlayed his passion for music into a multi-platinum career and a platform to support the military, underprivileged children and others in need. Raised among the longleaf pines of North Carolina, Charlie began his career playing bluegrass music with the Misty Mountain Boys
Each year Charlie also hosts The Charlie Daniels Celebrity Golf Classic & Angelus Concert in Hudson, FL, a benefit for The Angelus, a full-time residential facility and day school program for the severely handicapped. Charlie is also a member of the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Professional Advisory Board and has been a longtime supporter of the T. J. Martell Foundation and its numerous events aiding cancer research. He’s also the headliner every year for the Christmas 4 Kids concert at the Ryman Auditorium, which raises money to provide a happy holiday for needy children. “I have a very unique opportunity because of being in the music community,” Charlie says of using his celebrity status to aid worthy causes. “You try to give back to some extent. I do feel like people should. We should all do as much as we can.” http://www.charliedaniels.com
