Welcome to the Wednesday edition of the jrilshow! TONIGHT...we want to hear your funniest Halloween stories!!! Plus the QOD: What are some of your favorite things!!! In the Lounge tonight DJ Raphael with another smooth mix. Come get your BOO on tonight!!!
Come Halloween we'll see witches on brooms, witches stirring brew, pumpkins walking, candles burning, headless horsemen, candles walking, ghost running, graveyards, black cats, snakes, lizards, foggy settings, and zombies.
Halloween is a time for scary, fun, and the wildness of the holiday can be confusing for younger children. So be sure young children are escorted for any outside activities day time and nighttime.
Neighborhoods will have children everywhere. In parks, streets, driveways, sidewalks, in trees, behind cars, on bicycles. Be very careful. Adults be very watchful.
Drivers, be alert to people dressed in dark costumes. Many times costumes may not provide adequate eyesight. So never assume the trick or treater seek you and your vehicle.
Drive expecting a person likely will dart out either at a cross walk, or in middle of a block.
Adults after five Halloween parties will be occurring. Although the wise will not have alcholic drinks there is no way to recognize the wise from the foolish drinker. Look out for all drivers. Drivers look out for all pedestrians. Make this a safe Halloween.
ABC to Air Halloween Classic, It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown.
Halloween stories from Childcraft, The How and Why Library.
Data from the USDOT shows that fatal collisions between motor vehicles and young pedestrians (under 15 years or age) happen most frequently between 4pm and 8pm, which is the prime trick-or-treating time. Be safe
Have a Happy Halloween!!!
Real People, Real Stories, Real Results in real Time
Listen and be AMAZED...
Please call in to join Libby and jolly Wednesday’s at 5:30pm Eastern US time weekly, for sharing stories from the heart about both earthly experiences while moving through the matrix without a legal name, and spiritual connections to the big part of you, of who you really are! Sharing our stories is so valuable to both the teller and the ones listening.
We suggest that we all are open, and share while we remain aware of how we are expressing ourselves.
When relating stories, a great way to give perspective is to speak in the present moment as you are describing what happened… as if you are a camera recording what is happening; speaking in the third person can bring objectivity to situation.
Libby and jolly are here not to correct you, but to simply remind you [with some flexibility] of the rocky waters of getting lost in the memories and to stay in the now… as in the gift or gem that comes with the story. Remember, it is all about balance.
Standing in our power is so much fun. Come join us in this inflowment of empowerment

Author and public speaker Sierra Kay's love of the written word was predestined. Her mother concerned with the state of the public education system in Chicago encouraged her to read anything that she could get her hands on, including the spelling bee word list that appeared in the Chicago Tribune each year.
She was weaned on books like Anne of the Green Gables and Tale of Two Cities. She snuck in romance novels that she hid between her mattresses. However, her favorite book growing up was Aesop's Fables, which she feels puts her in an excellent position to share the moral's of her personal stories, whether people are interested or not.
Kay has an M.A. in Writing from DePaul University, won a Nuyorican Poets Cafe Short Story Slam and participated in Women’s Funny Fest as a member of the comedy troupe Spankx. In addition to writing novels, she is a member of N2O Comedy in Chicago.
