The book of choice is The Power of Habit: Why We Do What We Do in Life and Business
In The Power of Habit, Pulitzer Prize–winning business reporter Charles Duhigg takes us to the thrilling edge of scientific discoveries that explain why habits exist and how they can be changed.
Distilling vast amounts of information into engrossing narratives that take us from the boardrooms of Procter & Gamble to sidelines of the NFL to the front lines of the civil rights movement, Duhigg presents a whole new understanding of human nature and its potential.
At its core, The Power of Habit contains an exhilarating argument: The key to exercising regularly, losing weight, being more productive, and achieving success is understanding how habits work. As Duhigg shows, by harnessing this new science, we can transform our businesses, our communities, and our lives.
Enjoy the call. AL

What do you do when your family and loved ones hate your habit yet are still fighting there own functional dysfunctions but think they should abandon you? Before WW I and WW II greedy people pretended to dialogue and fronted as though they were negotiating there problematic habits; but in both instances there was no intention to discard the root problem. This, historical macro problem, from our human issues, represent the micro issues facing each individual. Do you really want to change the habit? To change the problem? WW III like those wars before it is a decision facing our kind where the only prevention is a choice- a resolution for difference. Aftermath is after the fact existing before the dreaded dead end - non existence. Here now there is a choice to let things revitalize and be born again- Yet there is a thin line between difference and indifference.... between care and neglect. What you gonna do for yourself I ask myself? What are we gonna do for each other? Family, friends, community. Kick That Habit: Before the Aftermath
Making Health and Safety a habit, instead of something people have to do so the company is compliant to legislation.
The need to be specific – which habits are you talking about?
How to determine which habits are most important to focus on?

Today on "It's My House" we shall set the tone and give our basic blue print for 2015. Our blue print is titled the "Wealth Of Nations 12 Week Habit".
Adam Smith was an economist who wrote the book "Wealth Of Nations". The primary conclusion of Smith's book is that PEOPLE are the real source of wealth of any nation. That same priniciple applies to businesses and individual people as well.
We shall take note of Adam Smith's Wealth Of Nations observations and fuse it with what it takes to develop positive habits that can transform and empower people.
