Latin America is rarely in the corporate media except as propagana against progressive governments. CIA-backed coups go largely rporteded as Chavez and other liberal leaders are depicted as dangerous nuts.
The recent protests in Brazil would lead the niave observer to think that protesters are fighting government corruption, when the truth is that the government has been moving steadily toward addressing the needs of the People, which is never approved of by the corporatocracy seeking complete control of the region.
On November 24 we examined in detail the Bolivarian Revolution and the lessons it has for those struggling for democracy around the world. Our guest was Guy Terrill Gambill, social justice advocate for many causes, student of events in Latin America and creator of the unique social justice advocacy website GambillonJustice.com.
Please listen to and share this discussion about various efforts for social justice in Latin America and the lessons they provide for the rest of the world on how to organize a united international front against fascism and war.
SFPI Radio is the international talk show designed to allow those struggling for social justice around the world to talk to each other about how we can support efforts to promote justice, democracy and peace in every nation.

Can you crowdfund yourself to success? Recent developments in crowdfunding have made this highly lucrative online venue even more popular. Take for instance Zack Brown, the Potato Salad Guy who wanted to raise $10 to make potato salad and wound up with $55,000 for his efforts on Kickstarter. (Talk about supersizing!) In today's still shaky economy, many entrepreneurs are turning to crowdfunding to start or expand a business since the banks have tightened rules regarding business loans. Other creative sorts are simply using crowdfunding to generate income of and by itself. So if you're interested in learning the ins and outs of one of the hottest commodities on the Internet, tune in for this potentially profitable episode.
Rant time, and a break from politics... Mike goes to the wonder of denial.
A murder, child molestation or other horror happens. Is your immediate response that it never happens or simply can't happen on our block, in your neighborhood or in our town? That's human, but pretty silly.
Even withi mass murders, nieghbors often initially say it isn't true, because, "I kinow him. He's a nice guy."
There are many dynamics working here. We'll touch on chauvsnism and the various flavors of denial, including it didn't happen, to it couldn't happen, to it wasn't as bad as all that, to some outsiders did it.
You are4 welcome to join in with your own takes and tales (no blocked or anonymous calls connected). 718-664-6966

They say that the best time to get rich is during a bad economy. Our company is here for your real estate brokerage, your insurance franchise, and your small business coaching, mentoring and business development needs.
Don't let the politicians continue to lie to you. The economy is not in bad shape and it sure could be better. I'm telling you the truth, right?
Yes, people and companies are making money, but it has become tougher for a larger number of companies and people to generate the revenue and income they need.
So what does this mean to you? It means that you need to improve your skills so, unfortunately, your brokerage, your insurance franchise or, YOU, can make the money BEFORE the next guy or gal.
Is this language too strong for you?
I'm going to say it LOUD and CLEAR. We are living in an economy of diminishing returns.
In economics, diminishing returns is the decrease in the marginal output of a production process as the amount of a single factor of production is incrementally increased, while the amounts of all other factors of production stay constant.
As example, so instead of 10,000 Realtors making enough money, there may be enough business for only 7,500. Then, three years later, there's only enough business for 6,000 Realtors. And so on, and so on.
The same thing is true for Insurance producers.
Maybe the economy will correct itself. I don't know if it will or not. Hopefully, it will.
But for now, you should find ways to improve your business skills to get first dibs on consumers ready to purchase today.
Enjoy the show.
