Epatha Merkinson, Charles Weldon, and Dominique Morisseau. She is the recipient of ART-NY’s 2009 De Witt Stern Local Hero Award for creating and producing ANOTHER SIDE OF A KING - Films & Literature of Woodie King, Jr. in association with Maysles Film Institute and Doc Watchers, Inc. and a recipient of a Going to the River Award for her commitment to Theatre Arts. Directing credits include: Panther Woman by Qurell-Amani, Tanya Maryoungs’ Desert Flower’s Truth; OUTTA CONTROL - Raw Comedy Cabaret Looking For Talika by Von Washington, Sr. Kim was Director-in-Residence for Frederick Douglass Creative Art’s Center’s monthly reading series at The Schomburg Center for Research In Black Culture and Associate Producer for Woodie King, Jr.'s National Black Touring Circuit, Inc. for nine years and taught the Basics Acting Workshop for the Legendary NEGRO ENSEMBLE Company for five years. She is currently producing the 6th Potpourri Women's Works Series for Womens History Month!
