Leaders of La Coordinadora 2014 (The National Coordinating Committee for Fair and Humane Immigration Reform) claim that the Latino electorate is divided due to the Democratic Party's desperate gamble to protect control of the Senate, and pressured Obama’s delay of his promised “executive action on immigrants by the end of summer”.
In a controversial declaration published on September 23, 2014 by the National Institute for Latino Policy, they declare on behalf of La Coordinadora 2014, that:
“Dolores Huerta is only the latest to try and pull Obama's chestnuts out of the fire with her recent quote from a VOXXI.com interview (http://voxxi.com/2014/09/24/latino-leaders-wrong-obama-immigration/ ]http://voxxi.com/2014/09/24/latino-leaders-wrong-obama-immigration/), "We have to look at the big picture and don't get caught up in saying we want it now." "...we are a community that can wait." And, "we have to have faith in our president..." How ironic that she expresses no anger at the 70,000 to 100,000 more deportations Obama's delay will provoke. Multi-millionaire Henry Cisneros, former Secretary of HUD under President Clinton, has repeatedly railed against immigrant advocates for demanding of the president "not one more deportation." Disgraced and separated vice president of the Service Employees International Union, Eliseo Medina, has probably been the most protective of Obama at every turn. And, Cecilia Muñoz, Director of Domestic Policy Council, and Assistant to President Obama, has been the White House's pit-bull in silencing critics of the deportation machine.”

Have you showered yet? There's a good chance that, following that Pay-Per-View card last weekend, you might have a thin film of filth all over you. Floyd Mayweather is probably still the best fighter on the planet, but his ego was deflated some after a prolonged tussle with Marcos Maidana in their rematch. That was interesting to some, but not much more on the paid card was, unfortunately. This week on TQBR Radio, Patrick Connor of Queensberry Rules welcomes Alex McClintock, deputy editor for ABC Radio National and Queensberry Rules. Not much is on tap for the next week or so, but Orlando Salido, George Groves and a few others may pop up in conversation. Thanks for tuning in!
We're boxing fans, which means we're more or less combat-ready, prepared for some really funky stuff. If nothing else, this rematch between Floyd Mayweather and Marcos Maidana has a much, much better tagline than their first bout, which was called "The Moment." This one is "Mayhem." They stuck with the M theme, presumably because you have, "Mayweather," "Marcos" and "Maidana," and someone just got that ear worm. This week on TQBR Radio, James Foley of Bad Left Hook and Queensberry Rules' Patrick Connor preview Mayweather-Maidana II and its undercard, but also last weekend's nice flyweight action, Carl Frampton vs Kiko Martinez II, and the Showtime card featuring Adrien Broner, Lucas Matthysse and Andre Berto. Thanks for tuning in!
