Many local churches are in desperate need of a good pastor and are presently seeking to secure the services of one. But how does a local assembly go about selecting a shepherd in the midst of so many forthcoming and seemingly qualified candidates? What is the screening process by which a new minister gets selected and who forms part of the so-called "Selection" or "Pulpit Committee"? This mini course is designed to provide the biblical answers to all those tough questions. No church elder, trustee, deacon or member should ignore this two hour study.
Students MUST request the corresponding outline for each lecture. Outlines will not be sent out automatically. Students can request the outlines by e-mailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org and providing the COMPLETE TITLE and DATE of lecture.
The International Institute Of Biblical & Ministerial Studies is entirely listener supported. It is suggested that for EACH lecture and accompanying outline the student give a $10.00 love offering. All donations are greatly appreciated and ensures that the institution remain financially solvent and serving the Body of Christ on a global scale for years to come.

We try out many things. What we often forget, is that this Right Path starts inside of us as gratitude. It’s not the finding of the perfect thing that makes us happy, it’s the act of being happy that brings the right things, people and opportunities right into our lives. In a state of appreciation, we are connected to joy and can view even the most challenging things as a blessing. Cathy will talk about how her connection to her guides helped her out of many difficult situations and how your own guidance can do the same.

Bernie Mayer is a Professor of Dispute Resolution, at The Werner Institute, Creighton University. For over thirty years he has been a leader in the conflict resolution field. Bernie has facilitated many complex environmental conflicts, commercial and organizational disputes, interpersonal conflicts, public decision-making processes, and has an extensive background in family mediation as well. He is a founding partner of CDR Associates, a pioneering conflict intervention firm. Bernie is the author of many books and articles.
