Do you know: What is Love? We need to spend some time thinking about the word love. We say the word, what is the thought that comes with it. Is it liking a lot? Or is like different then love?
Tonights show we discuss Love, Lincoln, and the Great Conspiracy.
What was the result of Lincoln's projections discussed last week. Did Abraham Lincoln's Economic Plan become Law? Were his projectied statistics for the year 1900 accurately determined. Lincoln talked about restoration, so if to restore means to bring back or return to, what was it that was to be restored?
The Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) Program is the largest school based father engagement program in the nation with over 4000 schools participating.
This week, we are so proud to have as our guest, National Teacher of the Year - Mr. Sean McComb. Mr. McComb is a 9-12th grade English teacher at Patapsco High School & Center for the Arts in Baltimore, Maryland. He is currently completing his eighth year as an educator and has been at Patapsco since beginning his teaching career.
“A strong teacher-student relationship facilitates the opportunity for deeper learning and more critical thinking,” says McComb. He firmly believes that public education is the foundation for opportunity and success for any child. In addition to his role as an English instructor, McComb helped develop, and continues to spearhead, Patapsco’s Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) program which boasted a 98% college acceptance rate for its last two graduating classes.
McComb’s devotion to the teaching profession extends beyond the classroom as well. He also coaches the Patapsco Cross Country Team, supervises cultural exchange programs, and has led several university training sessions and presentations for future teachers. McComb says that he has found his purpose in teaching stating, “I have worked to engage my students and push them to achieve the excellence within them. Every child deserves nothing less, and my calling is to champion that effort.”
He holds a B.A. in English Literature and a Masters of Education in English Literature from the University of Pittsburgh. He also holds a Certificate in School Improvement Leadership from Goucher College.
Each week, WatchDOGS Radio host Keith Schumacher and co-host Chris Danenhauer discuss how this program is impacting families and schools across our nation and in four foreign countries.
In every generation, there are men and women whom we can look up to and respect. It is amazing to me that the greatest leaders, are humble people who can talk to you as if you are a friend and at the same time lead thousands of people in any great organization.
We have met several of these great leaders and tonight I would like to share some thoughts on leadership after all this is an educational broadcast.
Capt. Jerry Prickett USN Retired teaches a class at Promise Christian University on Leadership and Management. He goes on to describe the qualities of a great leader. We should pay attention to the qualities that truly makes a person great. It's not their money, nor their position, nor their accomplishments. What truly makes a leader great is how he impacts the lives of those he comes into contact with.
I would like to share my thoughts on great leadership. A potential great leader is willing to start at the bottom, and do the little things well.

But there were FALSE PROPHETS also among the people, even as
there shall be FALSE TEACHERS among you, who privily shall bring in DAMNABLE HERESIES. Even DENYING THE LORD THAT BOUGHT THEM and bring upon themselves SWIFT DESTRUCTION.
MANY shall follow their PERNICIOUS ways. By reason of whom the WAY of
TRUTH shall be EVIL, spoken of. Through COVETEUOSNESS shall
they with FEIGNED words make merchandise of you.Whose
JUDGEMENT now of a LONG time lingereth NOT, and their
DAMNATION slumbereth NOT.But these, as natural BRUTE
BEASTS, made to be taken and destroyed, speak EVIL of the
things that they UNDERSTAND NOT; and shall utterly PERISH
in their OWN CORRUPTION and shall receive the reward of
UNRIGHTEOUSNESS, as they that count it pleasure to RIOT in
the day time. SPOTS they are and BLEMISHES, sporting themselves with their
own DECEIVINGS while they feast with you.
Having eyes full of adultery and that cannot cease from
Beguiling unstable souls an heart they have exercised with
COVETOUS practices. CURSED children, which have forsaken the right way, and
are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of
Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness, but was rebuked for his iniquity. The dumb ass (mule) speaking with man's voice forbad the madness of the prophet.
These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of DARKNESS is reserved FOR EVER.
For when they speak great swelling words of VANITY, they
allure through the LUSTS of the flesh, through much
WANTONNESS, those that were clean escaped from them who
live in error.
2 Peter 2:1-3, 12-18
Demons are fallen angels who serve Satan. Demon-possessed people are under the control of one or more demons. Demons are fallen angels who joined Satan in his rebellion against God and are now evil spirits under Satan’s control. They help Satan tempt people to sin and have great destructive powers. But whenever they are confronted by Jesus, they lose their power.
These demons recognized Jesus as God’s Son, but they didn’t think they had to obey him. Just believing is not enough (see James 2:19 for a discussion of belief and devils). Faith is more than belief. By faith, you accept what Jesus has done for you, receive him as the only one who can save you from sin, and live out your faith by obeying his commands.

This basketball show features coaches who have teams in the southern region of the NWAACC, one of the great community college basketball leagues in the entire country, also having east, west and north regions that encompass the great state of Washington and Oregon.
NWAACC basketball is as exciting as it gets and the after pre-league games in November and December, most league games in the southern region take place on Wednesday and Saturdays, with a few Mondays sprinkled in.
This show is hosted by veteran media personality Greg Crawford, who is the college basketball inside for CSNNW.com and Comcast SportsNet.
Actions speak louder…Faith without works is dead." (James 2:14). The people of Nineveh ‘believed’ God (verse 5), but that belief wasn’t enough. The KING of this great city fasted and used his authority to instruct everyone in the land to fast, call out to God, and put on sackcloths. They humbled themselves before God, physically showing their repentance.
God’s grace existed in the Old Testament. Contrary to popular belief and lack of studying the Bible, we can see that God’s grace & mercy existed in the Old Testament! Grace is unmerited favour. Favour is receiving something you did not work for. Mercy is the withholding of what you do deserve! God’s mercy is evident in this chapter.
Your obedience can save a nation. Repentance can save a nation.
For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? (Romans 10:13-14 NKJV)
And how shall they hear without a preacher? How will people hear about God if you do not tell them? How will people hear about God if we don’t support our missionaries & evangelists? How will people hear about God and be saved if you don’t grow in the faith, obey God and speak up?
See how a city was saved because Jonah finally heeded to God’s instruction. If he really resisted…the blood of the city would be on his hands, he would be held accountable. The people of Ninevah would have perished for lack of knowledge! But thank God that wasn’t the case.
Understand that the things God tells us to do, the thing He considers to be our purpose has a greater impact. Purpose isn’t just for you! It’s for others to benefit from.
