All pet lovers have to face the death of their pets, sooner or later. Other people may not understand the loss of a beloved best friend. They may say "it's just a dog," or "it was only a cat, not a child" or even "Get over it already, it was a pet, not a person."
But when we lose an animal, we also lose the companionship, comfort, security and unconditional love of our best friend. This loss of a pet is devasting, as only another pet parent can know. The pain of that loss is very deep and real to the person or persons who considered the dog a member of the family.
The loss can be as emotionally significant as the loss of a close human relative. Loving and kind people care about both humans and animals.
When Is The Time To Get A New Dog?
While an animal companion can never be "replaced" it is important that the people involved are emotionally ready to welcome another companion into the family. In this podcast Judy Helm Wright and Judy Cameron will be discussing the signs and signals that your spirit is ready to invite a new animal into your life.
In a supportive atmosphere we will provide a forum to help you make the decision when the right time is to welcome a new pet, while still honoring the life of the pet you lost.

in Self Help
Angela talks with Tom Cassidy, an internationally-published author who uses algorithms to help people crack the deepest issues of their lives: self-worth, self-belief, goal-achieving, feeling good, achieving sustainable health and deeply fulfilling relationships.
In this episode learn what the main principles are to becoming just a little bit more awesome in your everyday life. These principles come from Wallace Wattles' classic book, The Science of Being Great. Here's how Tom describes it: "It's a 'code of practice' for how to bring greater life to all people with whom you interact, by doing exactly what you do right now. It's pretty deep stuff, but yet again, it's so evidently brilliant that it will astonish even the most forward-thinking individuals with its blend of the esoteric and the practical."

in The Bible
Hello and welcome back to Bringing Back the Fire blog cast! Today we have extended our discussion on The Great Deception. Last week we marveled as we learned about the demonic schemes perpetrated through the ancient goddess ISIS. From idolatry of Ancient Egypt, Rome, England and Afghanistan, ISIS is yet being worshipped from the feet of Mary's statue, to America's Statue of Liberty. A line of deception can be seen as demonic attacks riddle the Jew and the Christian. The demonic connection of deception began some six thousand years ago in the Garden of Eden, when ISIS tempted Eve to mistrust her God. In the past, and today the spirit of ISIS is at work. We see her diabolical and heinous crimes in Syria and Iraq as well as other parts of the world. We also see her as the drunken Harlot in the Book of Revelation.
Our guest this week is Capt. Chuck Baier. Chuck is a frequent contributor to the AGLCA Discussion Forum and a recognized expert on all things Cruising! Chuck and his wife Susan Landry have published several books detailing anchorages along the loop, and they’ve been members of our organization since 2011. They currently are cruising in Florida aboard their 34’ Marine Trader, Beach House. Today, Chuck will talk about various weather sites that can be used to monitor weather throughout the Loop.
