KIMBERLY HOWARD – Kimberly Howard took her leap of faith as an entrepreneur in January of 2014 after dedicating more than 3 consecutive years at FAITH Company as an Art Director. As leading graphic designer and Chief Executive Officer of Bossi Graphix, she has developed an extensive clientele in over 30 states. Bossi Graphix has been in operation for more than 7 years.
In efforts to become an expert in the graphic design industry, Kimberly attended Wade College, in Dallas, Texas and earned an Associates of Arts Degree in Merchandising & Design.
To date, Kimberly has had the opportunity to work with a high profile clientele within the music industry as well as Joy Parham-Thomas of Hell's Kitchen, season twelve.
In addition to balancing a hefty workload and family, Kimberly is an active member of AIGA, The Designer’s Forum, & Admitopia. She has also found inspiration in mentoring students in addition to founding a designers forum, where a digital community of graphic artists converse in regards to new trends, thoughts, and tricks of the trade.
Shortly after, Kimberly’s godmother, Pearlie Clark passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2013 she launched Trust Me Cosmetics. This cosmetic line is to honor the life of Pearlie Mae Clark. She taught Kimberly to always strive to work her best and to look good while doing it. Her favorite saying was “Trust me!”
Kimberly is an extremely hard working young lady who will not stop growing as a person, mother/wife, and business owner.
Julie M. Holloway // Artist, Author, Entrepreneur
Julie M. Holloway is a multi-passion entrepreneur based in Chicago, Illinois. Her love for the arts began at the early age of 8. After high-school she attended Ringling School of Art & Design, DePaul and The Art Institute of Chicago where she took a variety of art courses and is currently pursuing her BA in Business Administration with a Marketing Focus at Capella University. The first sixteen years of her career Holloway worked in various roles at companies such as Accenture, Home Depot, Nike and Oce Printing only to realize her passion and potential has and always will lie in the creative industry. After three years of moonlighting as an intrapreneur, while working a 12-14 hour work day, Holloway was spending 2-4 hours per night on her graphic design business. One day she woke up and realized it was her time to pursue her passion as a creative entrepreneur and took the ultimate leap of faith and left her full-time career in corporate America
Holloway opened JMH Cre8ive Solutions in November, 2011 and has experienced tremendous growth and an expansion of creative design, print and web services along with her team of co-entrepreneurs. With an enormous heart and hunger for collaborating and assisting entrepreneurs carry through their creative vision, the business continues to flourish. Not too long ago, a colleague labeled JMH as the “dream midwife” because she has helped, encouraged, counseled and mentored many clients and colleagues as they pursue their entrepreneurial dreams.
The 44 year old decorated combat veteran, BE'N ORIGINAL has unequivocally established himself as one of the most versatile multi-talented individuals in the entertainment industry as a whole.
Born in upstate New York, BE'N ORIGINAL's father instilled in him at a very young age, that he could do anything with the sheer power of his will, as long as he believed in himself. This "can do" attitude would shape his life.
Though he has always sought a role in the entertainment industry as a producer, it would be his talent with words that opened the doors.
" My reputation as a spoken word artist and poet led to an editor of an overseas magazine to request a writing sample. He was so impressed, I was given my own column ."
Writing would lead to placement with several leading outlets including The Source, XXL, King, Vibe, and Yahoo!. It would also help establish relationships with a plethora of industry executives and celebrities across the many facets of the entertainment industry.
These relationships would create opportunities for BE'N ORIGINAL to showcase his other talents through his marketing company UMA Marketing and Advertising, as well as, launch the careers of 7X Essence bestselling author/publisher Michele Fletcher and Def Poet/TV personality Amanda "Diva" Seales. He would also launch his own media outlet, Urban Magazine.
Urban Magazine is an urban entertainment media outlet covering culture, music, fashion and sports as they relate to urban consumers.
Despite having worked with a multitude of household brands, there is clearly one project that he is most proud, Levina Lye's Pieces of Me EP. . . with a highly anticipated release date of June 2014.
