We're stepping through the stones and welcoming to our show the one and only Diana Gabaldon, the New York Times best-selling author of the famed Outlander series, which has transcended genres, has been translated to over 40 languages worldwide, and has won countless awards since the first book of the series was published nearly a quarter of a century ago. Now this beloved series has been adapted to the small screen on the Starz network, where viewers can follow the adventures of 20th century time-traveler Claire Randall and 18th century Scotsman Jamie Fraser, dubbed by fans as the "King of Men".
Diana will be stopping by to talk about the show's first season resuming its second half in April, the upcoming DVD release of Season One's first half, and anything else under the sun relating to her books and to the show. We will be taking fan questions for Diana on our Facebook Event page, so if you have a question for Herself, feel free to post it there and we will try our best to ask it for you! She will only be with us for one hour, so we will do everything we can to cover as many of your questions as possible.
We will also have the chat room open on the day of broadcast, so join us in the first hour of the program to talk Outlander with fellow listeners, and play along with our weekly feature, "Scary Justin's Horror Movie Trivia"! While scary films are not exactly related to Outlander, those of you in the chat room who can beat the horror movie "zom-boy" at his own game will get one question asked to Diana, so brush up on your scary movies and give it your best shot!
To accommodate Diana's busy schedule, we will be airing this episode at a special time: one hour earlier than our usual broadcast time, so don't forget to tune in at 9 p.m. Eastern/6 p.m. Pacific. See you then!
***Special thanks to Anne Mueller, who designed our awesome-looking banner!***
Thursday Night Thunder with host Adam Sinclair (@faborplumbs) and Mykkal Mulalley welcome Capital District Lawn Mower Racing Organization racer Luke Rakoske to the show to discuss the ultimate form of "grassroots" motorsports.
We will also have a brief discussion about the Daytona 500, and perhaps even take a phone call or two!
When thinking about the history of slavery one tends to think about the abolitionist movement. Generally speaking when we thing about this movement we tend to think about the Quakers and their impact in the USA and perhaps beyond and rightly so.
While it’s true the Quakers did much toward ending slavery I content the abolitionist movement started about the time Jesus of Nazareth ascended into Heaven. Paul’s Epistle to Timothy clearly illustrates the picture of a disdain for owning a human being. Paul explains whey we have the law;
“the law is made not for the righteous but for lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious, for murderers, for the sexually immoral, for slave traders and liars and perjurers—and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine that conforms to the gospel. (I paraphrase).
This then becomes a clarion call to the world actually that slavery was an abomination to God. That as Christians we can not abide by a person owning another person. This of course was taken seriously by both believers and non believers alike. To the non believer who owned slaves he saw an enemy of his enterprises. To the believer they came to truly understand what Paul meant when he said;
In speaking to the Athenians, Paul stated that God "has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings" (Acts 17:26). We are all descendants of Adam. While we are divided between different nations and languages, we are all the same -- human beings created by the hand of God.
We do not sugar coat the truth . It is raw and real .

Florida City spies on churches, demands licenses:
Florida city’s code-enforcement division, which was subject in 2013 to a scathing audit for falsifying inspections, employing unqualified inspectors and failing to clean up nuisance properties, has now decided to go after churches.
The City of Lake Worth, in Palm Beach County, has taken the position all churches are required to obtain a “business license” to conduct worship services. It is using city employees to covertly attend services and acquire evidence, including video, “for future court presentation
Oregon Democrat confirms amnesty danger to gun rights:
Schraeder’s observation highlights a contention made by Gun Owners of America that amnesty is a threat to the right to keep and bear arms. That position has so far been avoided by other national gun rights groups which refuse to acknowledge the issue, or to score political ratings and endorsements accordingly."
MMR vaccines actually spread measles and cause permanent immune damage, doctor warns
Dr. Robert Rowen was fortunate enough to have grown up before the advent of MMR, emphasizing that he was "blessed" to have had natural measles, as well as chickenpox, rubella, mumps and various other conditions as a child. He lived, of course, and now no longer has to worry about ever contracting any of these diseases again, thanks to the lifelong immunity he developed.

Harold, an eclectic and voracious reader, began his venture in the world of the written word as a child of 2 years. Scraps of paper, candy wrappers, dictionary's right through the entire encyclopedia Britannica. Yet Harold was driven to books of the sciences. Physics, Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, he met them all with great wonder and fascination. He delved into each discipline as if his very life depended upon understanding its depth.
It was not until the words of The Hon. Elijah Muhammad that the essence and understanding of the sciences began to have true purpose and meaning. He said, "all there is to know is written in a book, read".
Harold began his collegiate pursuit at Hampton Institute; he then forayed to Fairleigh Dickenson University. At FDU the practice of the Social Sciences, public activism, and public speaking became a trusted part of mental fabric.
Harold is the husband to Celestine Muhammad, and the father of 10 extraordinary children, and 8 grandchildren. Harold has the benefit of having the most exceptional and wondrous teachers to whom he owes all that he has learned, will learn and knows to this very day, The Most Hon. Elijah Muhammad, the Hon. Min. Louis Farrakhan, his Father Alfred Eatman, and his Grandfather the Late Captain, Harold D. Hook.

This is not a grass roots movement. This not an activity group. This is not a chearleading squad.....This is what Freedom and Liberty should sound like. The voice of the people taking back the Republic by holding accountable the criminals who are violating it.

When God delivered His law to the people of Israel from Mt. Sinai, the forces of nature were present to bear witness to the holiness of the One speaking:
So it came about on the third day, when it was morning, that there were thunder and lightning flashes and a thick cloud upon the mountain and a very loud trumpet sound, so that all the people who were in the camp trembled. And Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet God, and they stood at the foot of the mountain. Now Mount Sinai was all in smoke because the Lord descended upon it in fire; and its smoke ascended like the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mountain quaked violently. When the sound of the trumpet grew louder and louder, Moses spoke and God answered him with thunder. And the Lord came down on Mount Sinai, to the top of the mountain; and the Lord called Moses to the top of the mountain, and Moses went up (Exodus 19:16-20; 20:18).
