True origin and history of the martial arts by MASTER T. RICHARDSON pt 4 OF 6

    in Radio

True origin and history of the martial arts with GRAND MASTER  Terryl Richardson

It is common place for people to say that martial arts originated in the far east (China, Japan). On occasion, I have heard people come close to the correct point of origin by saying Greece. With that I asked myself, “If it is true that every culture that had a need for any army had a form of martial arts, then why would it not be logical that martial arts originated where MAN originated?” I have come to learn that martial arts hieroglyphics appeared on the walls of Egyptian tombs 3,400 years B.C., before the arts arose in China and Japan. These hieroglyphics are found on the ancient temple of Karnak in Egypt. Every nation, or “tribe” in Africa has its own complex and complete martial arts styles and these styles can be seen all over the world.

There are many people who would argue that Greece contains the oldest records of combative arts such as wrestling, boxing, and Pankration. The Greeks began the practice of wrestling around 776 B.C. By that time Egypt was already ancient. It is known to scholars that the name Greece derives from an ancient name for Africa, “Nigrecia”. Present day scholars of what is commonly known as Greco-Roman wrestling attribute the origins of their sport to illustrations discovered on the walls of tombs at a region of ancient Egypt called Mahez, which has been renamed “Beni Hasan”, or “hill of the son of the Hasan family”. At Beni Hasan, in four separate tombs, there are hundreds of paintings on limestone walls that for the most part, have since decayed.

    in Writing

A sample from Peter Mack’s book, AYANA CHERRY & THE TABERNACLE GLORIOUS Includes Rev. Mathias Lovejoy's sermon, "Satan's Whisper"

    An Excerpt:

Ayana Cherry's education in the power of seduction will be put to the test when she is taken in by Rev. Mathias Lovejoy and given a place to live and work at The Tabernacle Glorious. Her stride of seduction is on full display as she navigates the inner sanctum of a church that is rife with blackmail, sex, secrets and lies, all pitted against a reverend who has plans to build a grand cathedral to rival the biggest in the nation. When Rev. Mathias Lovejoy calls on Ayana's help, she has a perfect opportunity to get her friend, Peaches, released from jail in the process.

After seducing the reverend, satisfying a judge's request to be sexually dominated, and exposing a thieving, adulterous, blackmailing deacon, Ayana Cherry is a half-a-million dollars richer and on her way to California to find love.

Peter Mack is the highly acclaimed author of A Neighborly Affair. His follow- up novel, The Seduction of Ayana Cherry, was also met with high praise. Peter Mack was born in Los Angeles, California.

    Actes 1:4-8

    4 Comme il se trouvait avec eux, il leur recommanda de ne pas s'éloigner de Jérusalem, mais d'attendre ce que le Père avait promis, ce que je vous ai annoncé, leur dit-il;

A Night Of Ashes and Ghosts Episode

    in Entertainment

The Dungeon Crawlers Team welcomes to the show Thomas Beckett who will be talking about Night of Ashes. Night of Ashes is a Theatrical Prequel to Hell's Rebels, the current Pathfinder Adventure Path from Paizo Publishing which takes place during the events immediately preceding In Hell's Bright Shadow, the first adventure in Hell's Rebels. Working with the Paizo team, we are using NPCs, locations and plot points from the Adventure Path to recreate the traumatic events leading up to Barzillai Thrune's take over of the city of Kintargo.

The show centers on a young Hellknight who is conflicted between her commitment to the Law and her commitment to her City. When Grand Inquisitor Thrune orders her companion killed and an entire Opera Company arrested alongside a young Baron, she is forced to keep the actors from further harm and lead them to safety. The survival of this small band intermingle with the machinations of the arch villain of the Adventure Path.

The show will be as audience interactive as possible and feature steel on steel fight choreography by an award-winning local fight choreographer.

    The Kickstarter launches 8/27/2015
    https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/346863196/1232471340?token=51be328a.

Then the Dungeon Crawlers Team will wrap up the show with the Ghostbusters of Salt Lake.

The Ghostbusters of Salt Lake, organized in 2007, are Utah's premier professional paranormal investigators and eliminators.
You're likely to run into the GB's of SLC at screenings, comic and sci/fi conventions, costume parties, and charity events.
