Codie Prevost is a Canadian country music sensation. When he was 14 he picked up his first guitar, and since then his career hasn’t stopped accelerating. He began his journey on the path to fame by playing guitar, and writing songs simply to entertain his friends and family. Little did the world know that those family concerts would spark the pilot light on one of the biggest engines in Canadian country music. Codie has been nominated and won dozens of awards for his art, from the Saskatchewan Country Music Awards to the Canadian Country Music Awards.
He has played concerts with Florida Georgia Line, Joe Nichols, and Big and Rich, he even began a tour with fellow artist Stephen Maguire called “Imagine No Bullying.” During that tour, Codie, Stephen, and the Canadian Red Cross would go from school to school playing music and speaking to the masses in an attempt to bring bullying to an end.
Take 2 Radio Music will discuss Codie's career, tour, and brand new hit album "All Kinds of Crazy" on 07/09/14 at 3pm eastern time!
As we all know, there are two sides to every story. Although, there is only one Truth. Here at 'Winning America Back', we are working diligently to arrive at the Truth, with the full realization that often times, the Truth hurts. There is a way, however, to get over the pain of the Truth, and turn it into Glory! How, you may ask? You must repent. You must swallow hard, and accept that the path you have chosen to set your thinking, actions, and emotions on is the wrong path. You must then change your mind, your will, and henceforth your feelings. That is the definition of repentance. It is the most liberating thing you can do for yourself. If we, as individuals, and a nation, can find it within ourselves to repent from our ways, we can Win America Back. Until then, we will continue to spiral into more debt, depression, and death. Praise be to God and his Son Jesus Christ!

We have a very special Star Chamber Show this Wednesday at 9pm EST, featuring recording artist and performer G Tom Mac!
In writing, singing & creating the masterpiece "Cry Little Sister" as the theme song to the now classic film "THE LOST BOYS," GERARD McMANN hit a deep & provocative nerve in his career as both a recording artist & live performer.
Only thing was, when the film released in 1987, he was fed up with the music scene's "business" and stopped touring. He then changed his name to G TOM MAC as a result of no one ever pronouncing his real name correctly.
Born in Birmingham, England, Gerard spent his early years listening to The Beatles, David Bowie & Stevie Wonder. “I was inspired by various pop and R&B artists at an early age.” His family moved from England to New York City when Gerard was 11 and then a few years later moved to the Midwest. “When I was there I started learning guitar and the bass and realizing I had a voice, I started a band which played in clubs all over the Midwest.”
G TOM MAC went on to write songs for legendary singers such as Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin and Roger Daltrey of The Who. An array of contemporary Hip Hop artists, such as Ice Cube and Digable Planets, as well as KISS, Carly Simon and Eminem started to cover G Tom Mac's songs. Last year G Tom Mac earned a Grammy on Eminem’s "RECOVERY" album in which Eminem sampled him in the song "You're Never Over." Having had songs in over 50 films including Chasing Amy, Banger Sisters, No Way Home & more than 100 TV shows including Vampire Diaries, Scrubs, and the Big Bang Theory that still continue to license G Tom Mac's music.

Join me as I speak with Alexis De Veaux: Author • Poet • Activist about her newest work of love, Yabo.
Alexis De Veaux was born and raised in Harlem, the product of two merging streams of black history in New York City-immigrants from the Caribbean on her mother’s side and migrants from North Carolina on her father’s side-who settled in Harlem in the early decades of the twentieth century. The second of eight children, that history was embedded in her mother’s view of life: “You got three strikes against you. You poor, you black, and you female.” But Alexis was drawn to the world of words and books and literature soon became the means by which she re-imagined the world her mother understood.
As an artist and lecturer she has traveled extensively in the United States, Canada, the Caribbean, Latin America, Japan, and Europe. Alexis published a second award-winning children’s book, An Enchanted Hair Tale (1987) before moving to Buffalo; where she finished graduate school, earning a doctorate in American Studies, in 1992. A project nearly ten years in the making, her biography of Audre Lorde, Warrior Poet (2004) has been the recipient of several awards, including the Gustavus Meyers Outstanding Book Award (2004), the Lambda Literary Award for Biography (2004), the Hurston/Wright Foundation Legacy Award, Non-fiction (2005). Her work is available in English, Spanish, Dutch, Japanese, and Serbo-Croatian.
With her new work, Yabo, Alexis has returned to her first love: writing fiction.
