The United States has a long, rich history of voter suppression dating back all the way to 1776, the year to the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Once signed, existing restriction on voting rights that limited the right to vote to white, male property owners while barring Catholic, Jews and Quakers. The Voting Rights Act signed into law by Lyndon B. Johnson in 1965 has been essentially rendered ineffective due to the Supreme Court's majority decision in Clinton v. Holder (2013) and open season on voting rights has begun in earnest.

He also challenged his opponent for "playing the victim," considering that he had been on the receiving end of being called "all kinds of names and questioning my Christianity." Last week, the Lumumba campaign posted on Instagram about Yarber supporters, including pastors, trying to paint him as a Muslim Jackson Freepress

He speaks truth and definately a force to be reckoned in Michigan politics. He is for restoring of the Middle Class and helping Working Families. He's not beholden to billionaire Special Interest groups and is grassroots to the core. https://www.facebook.com/TBJ4MIHOUSE
