Come join me as we continue our preseason previews. This week we're going to cover the Grambling Tigers. To most people, when you say the name Grambling, you're speaking of one of the top HBCU programs in history. The Tigers have more NFL hall of famers than some FBS teams. And a great winning tradition. The last two years they hit rock bottom. Saddled with youth the Tigers have hit an all time low including a forfeit of a game. With a new coach and a renewed motivation the Tigers seek to reclaim thier crown. Can they do it? We'll take a look. Lots of facts with my own humble opinions sprinkled in.

Ever wonder what does it take to run one of the largest Athletic Programs in the nation? Tune in Tuesday, March 3rd at 11:30 am est when our guest will be the Deputy Athletic Director for the Buckeyes of The Ohio State University, Miechelle Willis. Willis serves as the primary advisor to Gene Smith, the Athletic Director of the NCAA National Football Champions. Miechelle, a graduate of Grambling University, has been in at The Ohio State University for 20 years and currently provides oversight for the department's day-to-day operations and serve as the primary decision maker in Smith's absence.
Dr. Stewart, 55-year old professor at Grambling University had to make a quick stop at Walmart to pick up a few hygeine items. As he was walking through the store, walking ahead of him was this curvacious young lady that had Dr. Stewart on the verge of drooling.
Dr. Stewart was someone that still had swag and didn't look his age. He still walked with a dip and dressed nice, and was well kept. Young and older ladies marveled at his attractiveness.
When Doc went to check out, the curvacious young lady was the cashier. They stared at each other with amazement. She said
"OMG, Its Mr. Stewart, my old high school World History teacher. You were my favorite and I had the biggest crush on you. I was a child then, but now I'm a grown woman."
She was very forward and wrote her name, Patrice, and number on the receipt, with a note saying "Call or Text me, and Trust me you will not be dissappointment"
Would Dr. Stewart be wrong for taking Patrice on her offer?
COCKTAIL CONVERSATIONS with The Controversial Counselor, David Glover
The latest television show added to the fray of reality show portrayals of black life in America, is a show called Sorority Sisters. It depicts women who are members of the Divine 9 black Greek letter sororities. Saying the show displays them in a less than favorable light is an understatement. There have been many protests and a huge petition to stop the show yet VH1 has still gone forward with its airing. The show brings up a lot of questions about the way black people and black women in particular have been portrayed in media historically and raises a lot of questions about how corporate media is affecting the image of black women in society. Guest Michelle Gordon Jackson, a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and the former daughter-in-law of the former Atlanta Mayor, Maynard H. Jackson will be featured. This former walkon is the epitome of the term "sleeper" in the 2012 draft class. Mario Louis entered Grambling as a basic student who played intramural football but was encouraged by all of his friends to try out for the football team.
He became a member of the team in 2009 and in a couple of seasons, Louis also became the team's most explosive playmaker. In 2011 Mario caught 51 passes for 1,129 yards and 18 touchdowns and drew high praise from his coaches.
Grambling Head Coach Doug Williams has a very high opinion of his playmaking receiver; “I was scouting for the Jacksonville Jaguars, and I was in Montgomery, Ala., at the Blue-Gray Game,” Williams said. “There was a guy named Terrell Owens there and he was the sixth man on his Chattanooga basketball team. Mario is the closest thing to Terrell, from what we’ve done and what he’s capable of doing.”
Joe Everett sits down with the Grambling State Tiger to discuss his college career and pro prospects.
