MEGA is Cloud Storage with Powerful Always-On Privacy. MEGA provides robust cloud storage with convenient and powerful always-on privacy. We call it User Controlled Encryption, or UCE, and it happens automatically.  All files stored on MEGA are encrypted. All data transfers from and to MEGA are encrypted. And while most cloud storage providers can and do claim the same, MEGA is different – unlike the industry norm where the cloud storage provider holds the decryption key, with MEGA, you control the encryption, you hold the keys, and you decide who you grant or deny access to your files, without requiring any risky software installs. It’s all happening in your web browser!

Hearing Loss: Fact vs Fiction & Meet A Radical Survivor on Read My Lips Radio

    in Lifestyle

READ MY LIPS' akaRadioRed goes beyond the typical blah-blah-yada-yada canned interview, engaging multiple guests in spontaneous conversations.

"Can't hear me? Got a banana in your ear?" If you remember this "joke" from when you were a kid, it's time to learn the truth about hearing loss, which is NOT a laughing matter for millions of people. According to Tim "The Hear Doctor" Frantz, MD, we typically begin to experience hearing loss as early as age 12. His book, Hearing Loss: Facts and Fiction: 7 Secrets to Better Hearing is an easy-to-read guide that busts myths about hearing health, testing and aid devices. Dr. Tim's experience and wisdom could help you and/or a loved one avoid the ramifications of poor hearing: relationship communication issues, lower earning power, social discomfort and more. www.TheHearDoc.com.

Nancy Saltzman is a "Radical Survivor" who beat cancer twice, and learned to live and love again after her husband and two sons perished in a small plane crash. Nancy wisely advises, "How you respond to loss will define you as a survivor or a victim." Learn her 3 techniques to help ensure you survive. Wondering how to express your condolences to help someone through a loss? Nancy says, "Make lasagna or at least write a condolence letter." She will also differentiate between the grief of a widow vs. a divorcée, and how to offer appropriate support to each. Her book is Radical Survivor: One Woman's Path Through Life, Love, and Uncharted Tragedy. www.nancysaltzman.com

Reader's Entertainment Radio Presents: Heather Graham

    in Books

Reader's Entertainment Radio welcomes NY Times and USA Today Bestselling Author, Heather Graham to the show on Thursday, March 26th at 6pm EST!  With over one hundred and fifty books and novellas to her credit, her latest novel, The Dead Play On, continues the tradition of excellence for which Heather Graham is well known!

    Book Blurb:

    Play a song for me…

Musicians are being murdered in New Orleans. But Arnie Watson apparently died by his own hand. When Tyler Anderson plays the saxophone he inherited from Arnie, a soldier and musician who died soon after his return, he believes he sees visions of his friend's life—and death. He becomes convinced Arnie was murdered and that the instrument had something to do with whatever happened, and with whatever's happening all over the city…

Tyler knows his theory sounds crazy to the police, so he approaches Danni Cafferty, hoping she and Michael Quinn will find out what the cops couldn't. Or wouldn't. After all, Cafferty and Quinn have become famous for solving unusual crimes.

They're partners in their personal lives, too. Quinn's a private investigator and Danni works with him. When they look into the case, they discover a secret lover of Arnie's and a history of jealousies and old hatreds that leads them back to the band Arnie once played with—and Tyler plays with now.

They discover that sometimes, for some people, the line between passion and obsession is hard to draw. Only in uncovering the truth can they hope to save others—and themselves—from the deadly hands of a killer.

OUR COMMON GROUND :: " The Matter of White ManNess: The Bad Apple Argument NOT"

    in Politics Progressive

OUR COMMON GROUND with Janice Graham

Tonight:           " The Matter of White ManNess: The Bad Apple Argument NOT"

police misconduct, college students singing songs of lynching Black people or elected officialswe are quick to defend the system as a whole and say that these are just examples of “a few bad apples”. We submit that such arguments are ‘bullshyt’. These problems are definitely systematic and "the bad apple arguments" do not pass the test of logic.
Does not a rotten apple pollute all the apples in the crate ? Or, is their bacteria in the crate which infects all the apples ? This racist behavior living in a “specialized white male culture’ living off of white privilege and supremacy is impossible. It pollutes and empowers whatever real or assumed power they are granted. Our children die and live by this system. Our tax dollars support it.

"Transforming Truth to Power, One Broadcast At A Time"

Solutions, ideas and notions of the critical issues facing the Black community so that " . . . it may Achieve itself". We present  serious Black scholars, philosophers, thinkers, activists and grassroots leaders of our time. Informed and forward looking discourse in a safe sanctuary for "Black truth".
