Interview: Todd Willert - Head Coach & Nique Martin -WR (East Forsyth Football)

    in College & High School

Interview with Coach Wilert and Nique Martin of East Forsyth HS just ahead of the Semi Final Match up VS Charlotte Mallard Creek HS this Friday at 7:30pm

    By Kegan Lowe Winston-Salem Journal

KERNERSVILLE — It was billed as one of the most anticipated matchups in Winston-Salem/Forsyth County history — a NCHSAA 4-AA quarterfinal playoff game between two bitter rivals separated only by a short drive down Business 40.

The result was a one-sided affair that saw No. 1 East Forsyth continue its season-long dominance over the rest of the area and defeat No. 5 West Forsyth, 31-6, in front of a capacity crowd at Clarke-Peterson Field in Kernersville.

Just a day removed from Thanksgiving, East Forsyth Coach Todd Willert was still counting his blessings.

Willert registered his 100th career victory at the school with the win over West Forsyth Friday night.

“I am just so thankful for everyone in our program,” Willert said. “From trainers to coaches to administrators to my athletic director — we took over a program 13 years ago and everybody said we would never win at East Forsyth. And for the guys that have been here with me the whole time, this is the 100th victory and we were never supposed to win.”

Both offenses started slowly, with the Titans forced to punt on their first three possessions while gaining one first down.

The Eagles started only marginally better, getting a 22-yard field goal from sophomore Cameron Lischke on their second possession to end the first quarter with a 3-0 lead. East Forsyth is now just two victories away from a NCHSAA 4-AA state championship. The Eagles will host No. 6 Charlotte Mallard Creek next Friday night in the state semifinals   http://www.journalnow.com/sports/prepzone/football/east-forsyth-rolls-in-willert-s-th-win/article_846d70c0-4de5-59d9-a269-c2f66839e157.html

Prophetic prayer with You: Healing! Heal! Healed!

    in Prayer

    Prophetic prayer with You!

Let's pray like: Jesus, King David, Daniel, Prophetess Anna, Paul and Silas and “YOU”!

    Luke 18:1 (KJV)
    1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

    Matthew 6:9-13 (KJV)

9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

Let us pray until we have the answer!

What is the Focus Prayer today if any?

The Vision and Classification of Holy Angels

    in The Bible

The Vision of Holy Angels is the same as the Father and Son and Holy Spirit

The Vision and Classification of Holy Angels Cherubim (Plural of Cherub) Genesis 3:24  THE Seraphim = meaning "burners"

Isaiah 6:1-8  In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple. Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wing

Revelation 1:2 Who bare record of the word of God,and of tesimony of Jesus Christ.and of all things that he saw.

Revelation 22:16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

Psalm 34:7 The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

1 Corinthians 2:13-15  Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

Psalm 35:5-6 Let them be as chaff before the wind: and let the angel of the Lord chase them. 6 Let their way be dark and slippery: and let the angel of the Lord persecute them.

Psalm 104:4 Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:

1 Corinthians 6:3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?

Satanic Infiltrators: Beware! Todd Tomasella and C.K. Coy

    in Christianity

"And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage: 5 To whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you." Galatians 2:4-5

As we see in the passage above, we must beware of satanic infiltrators, plants, jezebels, distrupters, and sowers of discord among the brethren. There are agents of Satan himself who is the accuser of the brethren of Christ (Revelation 12:7-12).

"Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices." 2 Corinthians 2:11

1 Peter 5:8 says, "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:"

"Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves." Matthew 10:16

"Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you." Matthew 7:6

We take a look at new roles for some guys, how great Monte Morris has been, and take a look at some social media mishaps from a prominent figure.

    This One Step - A Survivor's Healing

    in Christianity

Polly grew up with six siblings in Mobile, Alabama, but was only 8 years old when her father died of lung cancer. Soon two neighborhood boys began to molest her, friends of her older twin brothers. A couple of years later she was assaulted by another neighbor and later by her older brother. She was able to break away from the abuse at the age of twelve, but was by then deep in the darkness of isolation. Polly is now a mother and grandmother, and has lived in Atlanta for the past 15 years and has become a devoted advocate for adult survivors of Child Sexual Abuse.

She began her organization, This One Step, to help older survivors of Child Sexual Abuse deal with the trauma of being part of what she has named, "The Unknown Generation"  A generation of survivors who had nowhere to go for support.  In her late teens she began writing as a coping mechanism to deal with the PTSD.  Her three books, "Cider Blocks and Oven Racks", "Billy Wayne's Christmas Train" and "The Unknown Generation" will be available in early 2016.  She has written many southern short stories which have been published in different publications.  She is now hosting her own blogtalk radio show Monday through Friday beginning at 6:00am.
