Authors Supporting Authors with Dion Cheese

    in Self Help

Urban author, Dion Cheese, an African-American writer, penned Who Am I; The Chronicles of Cain; Explain It To Her Momma; and Caught Slipping.

Formally a hip-hop recording artist, father, convict, and drug dealer, Dion was born in northern New Jersey, the 7th of 8 siblings. Raised in the inner city section of Plainfield New Jersey, his life was anything but a Norman Rockwell portrait; life was hard, cold and at times cruel. Crime and drug-ridden, Dion avoided the lures of selling drugs and/or using them, coming from a family where everyone had succumb to one or the other. He somehow managed to have the force of will and vision to step outside his world, becoming the first in his family history to go to college to pursue a degree in Chemical  Engineering.

In his late teens, however, he felt the pull of the large wake his older brother was creating in hip hop music. Robert, A/K/A Dee Jay Cheese, better known as DJ King Kut, by his late teens was already a multi-award winning DJ World Champion, and later an inductee to the DMC Hall of Fame.

Dion had always been inspired to write, and recorded his first song, “Phenomenal”, through CSI Entertainment in the mid-1980s as a tribute to the older brother’s talents. Two years later he formed Third Street productions and recorded the singles Third Street, Come On Everybody, Kick The Habit, and  Leading The pack — released on Big City Records. He performed live at countless festivals, ands did shows at The Strand Theater in Plainfield New Jersey [headlined by E.M.P.D], and Newark Symphony Hall [headlined by BDP, D-Nice and Poor Righteous Teachers].

Along with his manager, Bruce T. Dugan, he founded Big City Records and, with the initial release of Third Street, the company established distribution through Schwartz Brothers, one of the largest independent national distributors at that time.

ZOMBIES ATE MY NEIGHBORS! HOW TO PROTECT YOURSELF FROM THE COMING NIGHTMARE!

    in Current Events

Seeing as how the CERN/LHC has been turned on (and they’re lying about it being halted) and it’s going to rip open a portal sending all kinds of spirits, demons, aliens and giants through to Earth, I thought it necessary to prepare the show all about how to protect yourself from what’s coming, and WHAT IS ALREADY HERE!!!!!

I'll also be going through how many gov sponsored "zombie preparation" scenarios have been going on. Do you think they put it out there so you can laugh, or so you can literally prepare for zombies? How can you say you've properly prepared for zombies if you haven't got any orgone or orgone water? Don't be left defenseless! You won't hear this from the Zombie Survival Guide!

Making orgone water is simple but no one really talks about what to DO with it….there’s no online instructions on how to “care” for your orgone water so I have some things to share on what I do personally to my orgone water to keep it fresh and whatnot.

Besides dealing with aliens and demons we’ll be dealing with mutant hybrid and other lab created nightmare creatures, snakeoids (tremors), humanoid sea creatures, giants, werewolves, KILLER SPIRIT-INFUSED DOLLS, clones, robotoid automatons/androids/reploids, vampires, and of course zombies. Oh, and I wouldn’t rule out gigantic killer ants either to be honest.

    Sports Talk with Benson

    in Sports

Tonight on Sports Talk with Benson we'll discuss many topics inlcuding UCLA-Gonzaga, Women's Tourney, Durant Out, After Linsanity, Vikings Add Giant, and more! Gary Bell Jr. is a quiet but key part of Gonzaga's defense. For the second year in a row, North Carolina and South Carolina meet in a Sweet 16 showdown. The Thunder announced Kevin Durant will miss the rest of the season, saying the reigning MVP needs another foot surgery. He is expected to return in the next 4-6 months. It isn't Kobe's taunts or humiliating viral videos that have made this the toughest year of Jeremy Lin's life. It's the feeling that, as hard as he tries, he just doesn't fit in. Babatunde Aiyegbusi is a 6-foot-9, 351-pounder from Poland who did not play college football, but due to his eye-popping size, speed and YouTube footage, got a contract from the Vikings anyway.

    GUEST (1)

Chesapeake, Ohio Native Joshua Lee Coffee is the ultimate definition of a rags to riches life story.  Struggling with the support of his family, only having his grandmother as his rock and raised him, he took life by the horns and conducted his own destiny and dreams. First studying to be an electrician for Heat and A/c and soon after following in his father’s footsteps, become a trucker for 3 years. Only realizing that wasn’t his calling.  Becoming a strong individual inside and out, pumping iron constantly. Shaping his true potential throughout his mind, body, and spirit. Becoming a fitness trainer, and helping others along their journey as well.

“I needed a positive outlet and that was one of the hobbies that my dad had so I figured that we could have that in common. I got really interested and started doing lots of research on nutrition and training. Soon my body was changing and I wanted to be able to start helping people get healthy and fit as well. In 2013 I joined an amazing company called ViSalus.
