Minimum Training Requirements for Entry-Level Drivers

    in Current Events

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has announced its intent to establish a negotiated rulemaking (RegNeg) committee to negotiate and develop proposed regulations to implement Section 32304 of the Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century Act (MAP-21). This section is concerning establishing minimum industry training requirement standards for entry-level drivers of commercial motor vehicles, an issue that has been ongoing for decades.

A Proposed Rule document has been issued by the FMCSA with the intent to establish the Entry-Level Driver Training Advisory Committee (ELDTAC) and is currently asking for solicitation of applications and nominations for committee membership. The final date to comment is set for January 9, 2015.

Our guest this evening is Richard Wilson, President and CEO of TCRG Consulting and Regulation. Mr. Wilson also serves on the Advisory Council as the Regulation and Compliance Representative for NATA: North American Trucking Alerts.

NATA will be nominating Mr. Wilson to the FMCSA committee based on his broad and extensive background within the industry, his active involvement in D.C., and his proven track record with concerns for safety and truck drivers' rights.

Discussion will focus on the critical need for CDL training standards as well as the goals of NATA as it continues its positive movement in gathering professional truck drivers and trucking industry leaders together to resolve the many issues that everyone within the industry is facing.

THE GOOD NEWS OF THE KINGDOM OF YESHUA Part 5

    in Religion

On this show which is the 5th segment of a 10 part series we will talk about: The Promise of a Coming Kingdom of Yeshua!

As we find written in the Bible:

"Behold the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto the throne of David a righteous branch (YESHUA), and a King (YEHSUA) shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgement and justice in the earth. In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OF OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS! Jer. 23: 5-6

And again we find a similar Scripture in the book of Isaiah, Chapter 9: verses 6-7:

"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and His name shall be called: WONDERFUL, COUNSELLER, THE MIGHTY EL SHADDAI, THE EVERSLATING FATHER, THE PRINCE OF PEACE. Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon His kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgement and with justice from henceforth even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perfom this!

My friends the kingdom of YESHUA is a "soon coming" kingdom and we need to be prepared!

We have seen that Jesus Christ and the apostles preached the gospel—the good news—of the Kingdom of God. But exactly what is that Kingdom?

On this program we will examine in depth more of what reaslly is THE KINGDOM OF YESHUA!

Ying & Yang Living: Health and Happiness through Asian Nutrition & Spirituality

    in Health

Our guest today is Moon Cho, founder of Ying Yang Living, a website dedicated to teaching the principles of health and wellness through the Asian traditions.

I first found one of Moon's YouTube videos (on fermented foods) and was very impressed with the quality, and I was interested to learn more about Asain cooking.  It turned out Moon's website not only included cooking and nutrition, but also natural beauty tips, Feng Shui advice, exercise ideas, and lessons on spritual practice.

I've been a practicing acupuncturist for 10 years, and it's great that Asian medicine has "arrived" in the U.S., but there is so much more available to us in the rich cultural traditions of Asia.  I'm excited to have Moon Cho on the show today to talk about her two foundations for health and happiness: spiritualty and nutrition.

Moon's website, youtube channel, twitter feed and facebook page.

Author,Wellness Entrepreneur James M. McLester stops by Good Deeds w/Dr. Sunday

    in Motivation

James Michael McLester is in need of a life-saving kidney transplant. To know James is to know he loves music.  He attended his first rock concert at Tarrant County Convention Center in 1978 at age eleven in Ft. Worth, TX. From that point forward, he knew that is what he was born to do and so he set out to follow his dream to become a

rock star.  Those were some turbulent days but, through the grace of God, James has reconciled with his family, long-term girlfriend and is a professional drummer/musician with his Christian band SuperNova Remnant, Temple of BOOM with DJ Drue Mitchell of JUCE TV,

Manafest, and the worship team at Crossroads Tabernacle Church. However, when James was in his early thirties, he had a near-death experience soon after being diagnosed with end-stage renal disease.  It was due to mercury toxicity leaching from the many silver fillings drilled into his teeth at a young age.  Fortunately, James has been placed on the list for a kidney transplant at the Texas Transplant Institute in San Antonio.  Though lifesaving, transplantation is enormously expensive.  A campaign has been established in James’ honor with HelpHOPELive, a nonprofit organization that has been assisting the transplant community for 30 years. If you are able and would like to help, please consider making a contribution by calling 800.642.8399 or visit helphopelive.org and search for James
