It's time to think positive as the dynamic duo returns to the air waves to look back at two weeks of action. Dustin Parks and Patti Rodisch are not looking at what the sport lost, but instead what it has gained.
From A.J. Allmendinger having his breakout moment at Watkins Glen to Jeff Gordon gaining even more momentum at Michigan, these two are all over the last two weeks of action. Plus, Tuesday was Joe Gibbs Racing's special announcement at their headquarters. What exactly was revealed, and what does it mean for the future of the team?
That, and even a look at one of the most popular, and most anticipated races of the year, the night race at Bristol. How many sparks will fly when these drivers take to the Bull Ring for the second time this year, and in an ironic twist the second night race at the track this year?
The green flag on the program waves at 5:30 p.m. ET/4:30 p.m. CT.
Glen Holt, or Glen "The Incredible" Holt, as he's known on stage, is the latest stand-up to emerge from the Boise, Idaho comedy scene. He's not afraid to admit to it either. Glen claims to be called "The Incredible" because he's not to be believed.
After practicing his act in the workplace for years, Glen "The Incredible" Holt made his debut at the 2009 Boise Curb Cup, and has since then made himself a regular in the Boise comedy scene. Glen is quoted as saying "Not being funny didn't stop Jay Leno, and it won't stop me."
On tonight's episode of Talking in Circles; we talk about today's Pure Michigan 400 @ Michigan. Jeff Gordon goes on to win his 91st career race. After a win at Indianapolis, he had strong runs at both Pocono and Watkin's Glen before mechanical failures. Today, he was able to put it all together for the 91st time in his career. A topic that will be talked about in every win from here on out... Is David Pearson catchable?
Joey Logano ran a great race. Todd Gordon very very very interesting pit strategy. Didn't take as much gas as others, gambling for the win, and it nearly paid off. Got the cautions he needed. With this team being esentially locked into the chase, is that the reason for this gamble?
Denny Hamlin's comments: "We just can't accelerate down the straightaway like that. Hendrick teams "should be embarrased that we were on their rear bumper... We're just slow. That's the best we've ran here in a long time. We'll just have to brave through it."
Kyle Busch bad luck again. Ryan Newman and Jimmie Johnson twice tapped Newman to get passed him. Newman made a comment on it.
Brad hits the wall and finishes in the top-10. Jimmie too great recovery for those guys. Jimmie broke his shifter.
And we've been challenged to the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge....
