The topics of this show are based on Lakota Star Knowledge and may include viewing current events from the Ancient Lakota perspective. This show's objective is perpetuate peace among all people, as the foundation of all universes is based on "Mitakuye Oyas'in". The Lakota Star Knowledge definition of "Mitakuye Oyas'in" is that before you can be at peace with all the relatives throughout all universes, you must first have peace among all the relatives within your own inner universe. The mind, body, soul and emtions are all connected to each other. When you do your best in nurturing these four parts, you will establish peace within yourself. Only then are you able to be at peace with all creation around you.
SATURDAY MORNING WAKE UP
Topic: HOW FREE IS YOUR HEART FROM WARRING SENSATIONS?
We often talk about freeing our minds from the "matix" of bigotry, war, otherness, hatred, envy, fear, and unforgiveness. What if freeing our HEART is the only way to get to PEACE? I think we need a HEART-TO-HEART conversation about ways to free our hearts.
Does a change of mind aways ride side-by-side with a change of heart?
Can your conscious mind carry on PEACE TALKS while your heart goes to war?
What does your HEART say?
How can we free our hearts?
I am calling for a CHANGE OF HEART because the conscious mind can entertain many intellectual conversations about ONENESS and PEACE and the heart can take us straight to war if we don't reconcile our feelings.
From MATRIX: The movie. 1999
Neo: "I know what you are trying to do!"
Morpheus: "I am trying to free your mind Neo. But I can only show you the door. You are the One that has to walk through it. You have to let it all go Neo, Fear, doubt and disbelief. Free your mind!" [FREE YOUR HEART!]
Morpheus: "There is a difference between knowing the path and walking the path."

Unfortunately I have to discuss the headline and the sensation that is Mo'Ne Davis and the end of her teams run in the little league World Series. There's a big rematch today between Chicago's little league team vs. the powerhouse Las Vegas Nevada team that warrants discussion as well as Team USA and a little Pre-season football as well on the all new "Jay Byrd Show."
Reasonable faith seems like an oxymoronic statement. However, as we discussed in June, our faith is based in reason. Faith is not just a matter of the heart but a product of the mind. It's taking the time to use critical thinking skills, observation, and logic to see whether or not what we believe is really true.
The idea behind this is to understand that God really does want us to seek Him. In Matthew 11:28-30 it says, "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." Why do we thinking Jesus is saying to learn of him and then correlates it to rest? I believe it's because the more you learn about Him, the surer we are in our faith. For in learning, we probe. As we probe, we gain answers. As we gain answers, our foundation is sure. When our foundation is sure, we have no fear that it can be shaken.

Michael Lane, host of the Like It Or Not radio podcast show, calls in to Liberty Drive for a truthful discussion of the biggest issues of the week. As the riots in Ferguson, Mo., appear to be ending, serious questions remain. Could the looting and violence have been avoided if we were told the truth behind the death of Michael Brown much earlier? Why did much of the nation again fall for a false narrative to ramp up racial tensions?
American photo journalist James Foley was beheaded by ISIS militants in a gruesome video released this week. President Obama gave an emotional speech on the incident and went straight to the golf course. Is the president tone deaf when it comes to visuals of these events? Has Obama surrendered leadership in the world as events around the globe seem to spin out of control?
