Host Faith Chatham presents special guest Texas Radio Hall of Fame broadcaster Tony Bridge, Jr. and newspaper woman, author, civil rights activist and former radio station news director Gail K. Beil. We'll look back over the past 60 years of media and compare it with today. Mr. Tony Bridge, Jr. acquired ownership of an AM/FM station in the East Texas market in the 1950s. Faith and Gail met in the early 1970s while employed at a Harte Hanks Communication daily newspaper in that same market. Together Gail and Faith have worked for at least 5 national newspaper chains. Tony experiences extends far beyond his local station. Faith has owned and operated creative shops, independent "full-serviice" advertising agencies and marketing companies, and served as media consultant for DFW based Fortune 500 Companies. At one time Gail was the News Director at a Radio Station in Marshall, Texas in competition with Tony Bridge's station. Gail has done advance work for Bill Moyers, covered environmental, political, education and historical beats. She is best known as the biographer of James Farmer, Jr. and was recently awarded the Denzel Washington Team Support Award for her service to the Wiley Great Debaters. This will be a live show. When these three old friends get together, the conversation is usually brisk, informative, unpredictable, and humorous!

Jack Thomas Smith made his feature film-directing debut with the psychological thriller “Disorder.” He was also the writer and producer of that film. “Disorder” was released on DVD by Universal/Vivendi and New Light Entertainment. It was released on Pay-Per-View and Video-On-Demand by Warner Brothers. Overseas, it screened at the Cannes Film Festival and the Raindance Film Festival in London. Curb Entertainment represented “Disorder” for foreign sales and secured distribution deals around the world.
Born in 1969 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Smith lived there until he was eight when his family relocated to a quiet island community in Michigan, which would later serve as the inspiration for his upcoming film “In the Dark.” He began to write at a very young age after reading the Stephen King novels “Salem’s Lot” and “The Shining.” By the time he was eleven, he had written a 300-page novel and a number of short stories.
Smith’s family moved to Sparta, New Jersey when he was a teenager. It was there in that middle-class town that he discovered the films of George A. Romero, Stanley Kubrick, Brian DePalma, and John Carpenter. Inspired to make movies, he wrote and directed a handful of short films that were shot on Super 8mm and starred his brother and friends in all of the roles.
Much controversy exists about who is Melchisedek who met and blessed Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings. (Heb.7:1) YAH will redeem a people who RESPECT HIS NAME! HE is not pleased with being MISrepresented!
Heb 7:14 For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Judah; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood. (Gen.49:1-<8-12) 15 And it is yet far more evident: in that after the similitude of Melchisedec there arises another priest,
Psa 110:1 A Psalm of David. The LORD said unto My Lord, Sit thou at MY right hand, until I make Thine enemies Thy footstool. (Isaiah 44:20-46:15) 2 The LORD shall send the rod of His strength out of Zion, that you shall rule over your enemies. 3 Thy people shall be willing in the day of Thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: Thou hast the dew of thy youth. 4 YAH has SWORN, and will NOT TURN BACK, You are a priest for ever after the order/ similitude of Melchizedek. 5 The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of HIS wrath. (Isaiah 44:20-46:15, Psa.2)
Isa 41:2 WHO raised up this Righteous King likened to the rising sun, and called Him to his foot, gave the nations before Him, and made Him to RULE over KINGS? HE gave the RULERS as the dust to His sword, and as driven stubble to His bow.
Isa 46:11 Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executes MY counsel from a far land: yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it.

http://www.hhs.gov/healthcare/rights/A Fight over Health Care is Occurin all over the United States but in Tennesse Heroes are fighting Back. Pamela Weston, Randall Rice and his wife retired therpist Meryl Rice were determined not to let their neighbors go uninsured. Learn how they launched a campaign for ACA.Pamela Weston is a grandmother in East TN who organized a 70 mile walk through her state senate district to reach out to those in the healthcare coverage gap resulting from Tennessee's decision not to expand Medicaid. Her Insure TN Journey for Justice crossed a rural senate district through five counties in an effort to reach out to the district's nearly 15,000 uninsured adults. Meryl Rice is a retired psychotherapist whose last position was as the Director of Crisis Services for a mental health agency which covers five rural counties in West TN. She also has many years experience in the healthcare field working in med-surg hospitals . Her 40 year experience has made her acutely aware of how access to affordable healthcare affects not only individuals and families, but the community at large. After retirement, Meryl and her husband Randall Rice took it upon themselves to promote the Affordable Care Act and initially trained to be navigators/certified application counselors. When there were no "sponsoring agencies" near them willing to take on the responsibility of volunteers, they decided to launch out on their own. However, they hit another roadblock.

While KaliSara is presenting at Heartland Pagan Festival this weekend, RevKess will be chatting with new Pagan musician Bran Cerddorion about his debut album, "Four Branches: Tales of the Mabinogi in Song"
Bran is a bard at heart, inspired by the realms in which myth, Nature, and dream come together. As a practitioner of Druidry and the Bardic arts, he focuses the creative flow of the Awen into writing songs that promote peace, a reverence for the world around us, and the stories we tell each other, but not without a touch of humor. He began playing music around 2007-08 when his brother taught him to play the mandolin, and together they wrote and played many a song. He shortly picked up the guitar as he developed an interest in the Paganism, Druidry, and Bardistry, and continues to craft his music in a Celtic-inspired folk tradition.
His upcoming freshman album, "Four Branches: Tales of the Mabinogi in Song," tells the tales of the Welsh Mabinogion, and is scheduled to be released in summer 2015.
Bran can be found on Facebook and his website.
