Another week, another episode of the BSD Basketbro Show! This week, the guys are confused, because after narrowly beating Duquesne (or, rather, duqane) and beating up George Washington, Penn State hoops may actually be pretty good. Bill DiFilippo, Eric Gibson and Chad Markulics discuss the two games from this past week, preview the upcoming games to finish the non-conference slate against Drexel and Dartmouth, talk about some of the major players from the past few games -- we're looking at you, Geno Thorpe and Jordan Dickerson -- and try to answer a simple question: at 10-1 with votes in both the AP and Coaches polls, is Penn State basketball good? There's also the general silliness that comes from the podcast, but you already knew that. So sit down, turn your headphones up, and get ready for the latest episode of the best damn Penn State hoops podcast on the Internet.

Well, as I predicted before the season, Johnny Football has taken over as starting QB of the Cleveland Browns. We will break down this game and all of this weekends NFL games. We will discuss the play-off races and draft positions of the teams not fighting for a play-off spot. The baseball winter meetings ended last week, so lets talk about winners and losers at this point and of course we can specifically talk about the local teams and where we stand right before Christmas.
We will start talking about Knick basketball, or what resembles baseketball but really isnt. The Heisman trophy has been handed out and I will give my opinion on whether Marcus Mariota is the next Roger Staubach or Geno Torretta. Lots to discuss and we didnt even bring up or music items. Yu know what lets surprise you with those. So tune in This Monday, December 15th at 6:30 pm est to here my opinions on these topics and more. Of course I hope you guys call in and give me your comments on these items and anything else thats on your mind.
Talk to you tomorrow!!!
Hey Jets' Fans- CJ and Carlos are back this week to sift through the wreckage of, yet another game where the beloved New York Jets found themselves on the losing end of one of the better performances of this football season. This time, at the hands of the Minnesota Vikings in Overtime. Geno Smith tells ESPN that this year he has shown 'glimpses of being an elite QB' this season! The boys debate that little statement by the Jets' signal caller as well as the 'Fire John Idzik' crusade gathering more and more momentum as each week passes! Can the Jets find a way to get a win at Tenessee, or will they find a way to break the hearts of Jets faithful once again? Has Geno Smith talked himself out of a job next year?

Holiday preparations beginning to stress you out? Well then, we’re instructing you to stop what you’re doing, and tune-in to another “relaxed” Frat House Saturday with Frat House Mike bringing you some of the BEST clips from this past week's Frat House Sports Radio Network.
We kick-it-off with a clip from our flagship program, The Frat House Sports Show, featuring our famous “4 Minutes of Football” followed by the gang’s NFL Picks-of-the-Week: Pittsburgh Steelers – Atlanta Falcons / Denver Broncos – San Diego Chargers / Dallas Cowboys - Philadelphia Eagles / New Orleans Saints – Chicago Bears.
From Inside the WarNest, Frat House Mike challenges Jim Williams to convince him that the Philadelphia Eagles can beat the Dallas Cowboys in this Sunday’s revenge match-up for supremacy in the NFC East. Mike frankly thinks that “mission” is impossible!
From The Red Zone Blitz program, Frat House Mike points out that 11 teams in the NFL have below-.500 records. Is there more “bad” football this year than normal or is this just the “Year of the NFC-South-Effect”? Brandon weighs in on that contention plus the problems with a really bad New Orleans Saints team.
Be sure to be there from the top of the show for FHS's famous Frat House Mike's Saturday Commentary! That's always sure to generate some controversy!
Give it a listen and be sure to give Mike a call at 347 – 826 – 9964 . . . because, he’s all by himself, and needs someone to talk to!
It’s Thursday, and in between the holiday shopping, decorating and cooking, the Frat House Sports crew is BACK and has all the big sports updates for this week! Didn’t get a chance to follow it all? Well no worries, because the guys got it ALL covered and no sport is safe from their ire!
The big news this week is all about the NFL. In the wake of the recent off-field issues with players like Adrian Peterson and Ray Rice, the NFL released its new personal conduct policy. Some have issues with it, while others think it is appropriate.
As always around this time of year in the NFL, the rumors are flying about the state of teams performing poorly. The guys have an update on some of the question mark teams and who is returning or not: Will Harbaugh remain with the 49ers? Will the Washington Redskins get a complete makeover, by moving RGIII and Coach Jay Gruden? And despite the woes of the Bears, it appears that Trestman is safe! Surprised?
Week 14 has some surprises in store for NFL fans …and some head scratchers. The Browns, despite performing well, are ready to start rookie Johnny Manziel this weekend in the matchup against the Bengals. Also, the early lines for this week are a little wacky and caught the guys’ attentions.
We've got "4 Minutes of Football" looking at: the Rams early draft strategy; how the Packers killed some fantasy teams; and Geno Smith’s opinion about his own Pro Bowl status.
And be sure to match your picks against the guys in their Week 14 "pick 'em" games: Pittsburgh Steelers - Atlanta Falcons / Denver Broncos - San Diego Chargers / Dallas Cowboys - Philadelphia Eagles / New Orleans Saints - Chicago Bears.
With all of this and much more coming live, you know you want to listen up and chime in. Jump right in with the guys at 347 - 826 - 9964!
Bad teams find a way to lose and the New York Jets are doing just that. Another excruciating loss as Rex Ryan gambles and fails in overtime. Percy explodes, is that enough to warrant bringing him back? Geno improving? Are there any positives to take away from the defense? Are there any members of the team improving as the season plays out? Is this Sunday's game a cake walk for the New York Jets? Call in with your thoughts Jets nation!!
The New York Jets lost another one and fell to 2 and 11 on the season. As a result of the lackluster play, the Fire John Idzik movement is getting stronger and stronger. The group behind the website FireJohnIdzik.com is giving out 10,000 penalty flags for fans to use for the Jets final home game against the Patriots. Each towel says Fire John Idzik. We will talk about that, along with who else is going to get fired after the season.
As far as the team on the field is concerned the next opponent is the Tennessee Titans. The game has big implications on the order in which the Jets will draft in the spring. We look at some draft scenarios as the Jets have no shortage of holes to fill next year.
Percy Harvin is injured, has he done enough to warrant bringing him back next season with a big salary cap number? Sheldon Richardson had a monster game last week. We will talk about him as well as take your calls.
