Tonight Bonnie Kaye welcomes guest Michael Williamson who has published the book Secret Betrayal. Willaimson is originally from California, but he currently lives in Montana where he ranches between writing. He is working on his next novel Now is Forever: Indochina which is due out next fall. This will be the first in a series of books on the topic.
Tonight we will be discussing Secret Betrayal. Here's a summary:
The desperate act of a young girl, on the cusp of womanhood, to lose herself in the mean streets and cabarets of 1930s Berlin, and years later, the disappearance of a key American general shortly before D-Day in 1944 are links in an ingenious plot to gain the secrets of the Allied invasion.
Through a series of traumatic events Reichsletter Martin Bormann, the man more than any other that truly ran the German government toward the end of World War II, sets in motion a deadly gambit that ricochets across half the world and gains Bormann possession of the Normandy invasion plans. In the double dealing, back stabbing chaos that was the Nazi inner circle, this climactic information is the currency that will buy Bormann the one thing that he has desired above all others: the right to be the next Fuhrer.
So unfolds the dynamic pages of Secret Betrayal. This novel is a testament to the redemptive power of love, the evolutionary power of kundalini yoga and the war within a war waged by Reichsletter Martin Bormann and Reichsfuhrer Heinrich Himmler for the mind of and influence over Adolf Hitler.

This week on Scottscope Talk Radio, we’ll be diving headlong into Marvel’s upcoming Secret Wars Event! Will this be the end of the Marvel Universe as we know it? Will this reboot create greater fidelity between the Marvel Comics Universe and the Marvel Cinematic Universe? Does it bear comparison to DC comics Crisis on Infinite Earths? Is this merely a calculated move to boost sales? Have reboots become something of a safety net for both Marvel and DC? What good, if any, could possibly come from this?
We’ll also be talking about the historical epic Selma. Was it snubbed at the Oscar nominations? If so, why was it snubbed? Does the answer boil simply boil down to good old fashioned racism, or is there something else afoot? Is Spike Lee right about the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences? Should Black Americans simply dismiss and disregard the Oscars? Are the Oscars even still relevant? What does this mean for future Black biopics and historical dramas looking to get recognition from the Academy?
We’ll also be discussing the ongoing controversy with Clint Eastwood’s latest, American Sniper! Is Chris Kyle a true American hero, or a raging sociopath that is now being deified by Hollywood? Can the film be dismissed as merely jingoistic right-wing propaganda? How accurate is the film in its portrayal of Chris Kyle? Why has the Motion Picture Academy, which is largely seen as a liberal institution, nominated it for multiple Oscars? Should historical accuracy be a prerequisite for biopics?
We thought the Golden Globes Nominations were more than interesting. Now what about the "Academy Awards"? With "Award Season" in full bloom, it only makes since to start paying close attention to the upcoming Oscars and what they have to offer as the film nominations have already been announced. The question is, with all the movies that were eligible this year, did the "Academy" make the best choices? We'll tell you what we think, and in the weeks to come, let's see how this all unfolds!
Edward Jones is an American apostle called to serve God in 1998. A father to 7 children Brittany, Autumn, Cierra, Keith, Joshua, Capria, Jessica, and a husband to one wife, Prophetess Deshauna Jones. He accepted his call in the latter part of 1999. He gave his life to Christ under the ministry of Pastors Frank and Nancy Ward of the Power of Prayer Cathedreal Ministries of St. Louis, MO. Edward began preaching with an emphasis on the prophetic and soon found himself ministering late nights in both St. Louis, MO and Brooklyn, Il streets. He and his fellow servant Aundray Williams preached tirelessly beginning at midnight each Friday in some of the roughest parts of the aformentioned cities. Together and through the power of the Holy Ghost, they saw many lives saved, demons cast out and one of the most notorious drug abusers finally give her life to Christ.
He began to look at his life and see God's hand had been protecting him. At one point he thought he was invincible, even untouchable. That same day he had a head on collission and woke up mangled behind the steering wheel. His arm was broken in three places and doctors gave the news that he would never have full mobility or range of motion and suggested an operation involving screws and bolts. He was uninsured and in dismay at what he would become. In subsequent days and months he began to pray and found God to be a healer. Today and since those dark days in the late 90's Apostle Edward Jones has learned that God is a healer, a way maker, a deliverer, married to the backslider, and a a rewarder of those who diligently seek him! Considering the state of affairs in todays world one may ask “Is there any Power?” The response is YES, and God is that Power! Click for Android App here
