ABOUT THE MUSEUM
Hundreds of Exhibits of Rare Artifacts and Memorabilia of Stars and Stunt Performers of Motion Pictures and Television, featuring personal items of John Wayne, Jimmy Stewart, Steve McQueen, and Stunt legends of the movies including Yakima Canutt, Cliff Lyons, Dave Sharpe, Ronnie Rondell and hundreds of others.
There are over 350 concrete blocks that contain the footprints and handprints as well as signatures of many of the Greats of the Cinema ... a collection that out-ranks those that are located at the Mann's Chinese Theater on Hollywood Boulevard. This rare collection has taken its founder, John G. Hagner more than 65 years to gather and preserve for posterity, featuring parts of costumes, weapons, stunt equipment, photos and paintings and drawings ... hats and caps, boots and shoes and hundreds of items from the movies and television, plus videos, films and film clips.
The Hall of Fame has been in existence since 1973 and became a non-profit organization in 1984, dedicated to preserving the history of the Stunt profession and to honoring Stunt People the world over.
Currently the Hall of Fame is without a home and needs financial support to enable them to afford a building in which to welcome visitors. Anyone interested in participating in this effort, may make a tax-deductible donation to the HOLLYWOOD STUNTMEN'S HALL OF FAME, and mail it to 81 W. Kane Creek Blvd. - #12, Moab, Utah 84532. For more information, contact John Hagner at 435 260-2160. Email address is firstname.lastname@example.org

Join us for an enlightening time of discussion about any and everything.
We delight in the Lord and Praise Him for His goodness, but we live on the planet earth and know that there are things that need to be addressed on an earthly realm, not just in a spiritual dimension.
We encourage listeners to join us by calling into the live sessions at (619) 638-8499 or just log into the chatroom.
We always mention my books which are available on amazon.com and talk about any impending new releases. My writing covers a great deal of territory--written specifically to inspire, educate, motivate, and entertain. Look for them under my name--Mary M. Hall-Rayford on Amazon!
Current events are mentioned and many times, commentaries made about news events.
Don't be surprised if one of us starts preaching about whatever it is that has triggered the passion of preaching. You may think we're just getting on our soap box about specific things, but we love the Lord enough to encourage everyone to live the way God wants us to live--loving Him and one another.
Don't forget--God loves you and we do, too!
Come back again, next week for another episode of "Live With The Rayfords!"
Camille Thurman was born in St. Albans, NY. She is a saxophonist, flutist, vocalist, composer, and educator. Her lush, velvety, rich, warm sound on tenor saxophone has been compared to tenor greats Gene Ammons, Dexter Gordon and Lester Young. Camille’s ability to sing four octaves and perform vocalese greatly influences audiences reminiscent of Minnie Riperton, Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughan. Her ability to take the sounds evocative of yesteryear’s legends and creatively pair them with the nuances, edge ad freshness of today’s music not only expanded the possibilities of jazz in the the upcoming generation but gained her the respect of audiences in Israel, Switzerland, and around the world. An accomplished performer and composer, Camille shared the stage with Dr. Billy Taylor, Benny Golson, Chaka Khan, Alicia Keys and other jazz and R&B icons. Camille leads her own quartet, which toured Russia, performed at the International Women in Jazz Festival, Super Jazz Ashdod Israel Jazz Festival, and others worldwide. She has appeared on BET’s Black Girls Rock as the saxophonist in the All Star Band and has performed at venues including the Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center, and the Jazz Standard, just to name a few. Camille released two albums on the Hot Tone Music Label –Origins and Spirit Child.
Stephanie Sugars has been moderating an online discussion group for families deaing with Peutz-Jeghers Syndrome since 2000. Over the years she has seen lots of changes.
Peutz-Jeghers Syndrome is a genetic disease. One tiny change in the STK11 gene, a tumor suppressor gene, removes one level of protection against tumor growth. With this alteration, a person is at increased risk of benign polyps and cancerous tumors of the digestive tract which may cause blockages. It may also lead to tumors of the pancreas, breast, and reproductive tract.
An early sign of the disease can be discolored spots on the iips and mucous membranes.
Its gastric symptoms look a great deal like those of Familial Adenomatous Polyposis (FAP), which is caused by alterations in different genes. The rate of diagnosis varies widely, and depends on the doctor remembering to think about this rare condition. However a careful diagnosis is very important, as it helps the family and the medical team know what to watch out for.
Joyce and Mike speak with Stephanie about her history with Peutz-Jeghers Syndrome.
