SORT BY Relevancy
The show promotes and discusses the ideas of true freedom and liberty for all people without the partisan politics. Exposing the government for what it is, a mafia that rules only by the threat of force without concent. The show supports peaceful consentual voluntary relationships.Where the people are not robbed, oppressed, controlled and abused under the threat of force and in many cases actual force is used to force compliance.
Governments and it's rulers have no place in the world. I don't want someone else to represent me and make decisions about how I should live my life, when I know what's best for me and can represent myself. I am not a republican, I am not a democrat. I'm not a liberal, I'm not a conservative. I will not allow you to define me, or force me to join one of your gangs. I am an individual and I believe in freedom and liberty for all people, regardless of race, gender, or sexual orientation as all human beings have a right to freedom and liberty. I will stand up to government oppression and do what I can to educate the public on the illusion and or lack of true freedom in America.

Vicki's radio broadcast provides an open forum discussing support services and real issues for individuals who have been arrested, convicted or incarcerated and trying to re-establish themselves in society with housing, career, family, community and church.
Vicki Hallman-Bowman, a native Dallas Texan who retired from TDCJ Parole after working 32 years in case management and executive leadership, is now the Program manager for Oasis Center, a 5013C non-profit organization where she coordinates the collaboration and communication with partners who provide reentry supervision, programming, and treatment for the formerly incarcerated, the disenfranchised, and the vulnerable persons in Dallas county and surrounding areas. Are "strange," "Immoral," and "unfamiliar" feelings enough to block medical care for a prison inmate? Well, yes, in Massachusetts, to a five-judge federal court of appeals panel. They ruled en banc by 3 to 2 to overturn first a trial judgment and then a 3-judge panel of appeals justices that mandates sexual reassignment surgery for an inmate serving a life term.
Michelle Kosilek had fought for her surgery for a decade, winning before Judge Mark Wolf and then the panel. The Commonwealth persisted and finally had its way on Tuesday.
This becomes a de facto prohibition on such surgery here. Kosilek has long had hormone and other treatments, all short of the surgery. She won on Eighth Amendment grounds — cruel and unusual punishment for denial of necessary medical treatment. The Commonwealth edged out its win on what a dissenting judge called lies, ignoring the facts, rejecting case law, and making up law on the fly.
I'll talk the implications and how sadly the federal court here looks like the reactionary majority of the SCO)TUS.
Gender-based violence effects more women than men though men are also sadly at the receiving end of this. We are here on the planet as a human race. Both men and women are in this together and we wont make a dent in finding a way to move away from violence. Today we are speaking to the marvelous and relentless Ben Atherton-Zeman and Joe Samalin of Breakthrough.
Both using creative means to influence and educate people to stop discrimination and violence against women and girls.
We are so fortunate to have them both on the show not long after they have just been at a conference in New Delhi all about how to get men involved.
Civil Disobedience Is The American Way:
Fighting Injustice with New Forms of Peaceful Protest
From Trayvon Martin to Jordan Davis to Michael Brown to Eric Garner to DJ Henry. America has a problem. A race and gender problem. And sitting right in the bullseye are countless Black men, young and old victimized by police tactics that work against them in grand jury rulings and court house verdicts. We can no longer look the other way…Americans are finally saying ENOUGH to the senseless killings that are happening throughout the land.
Important details missing from a dispatcher’s call to police resulted in a 12 year old child being gunned down by a rookie cop in Cleveland. And a man with asthma desperately calling out “I can’t breathe” succumbed to a New York cop’s chokehold that finished his life forever.
Veteran diversity professional and former chair of the National Black MBA Association Bill Wells will discuss the direction of our country as we wrestle with police brutality and its fatal impact on Black men everywhere. And we’ll also look at the groundswell of peaceful protests around the country and the world that are waking us all up the the changes needed to fix the injustices so badly derailing our nation.

If there is an unseen power ruling over our society, it does so only because we allow it to hold sway over the course of our lives. Far too few of us realize that true power resides within the masses, not the individuals who have convinced us that they are our rightful rulers. Neil Kramer defines the dominating ethos of Empire and explains how our culture continuously creates and perpetuates it
