Clemson University football coach Dabo Swinney caused some controversy this week when he was to be honored by a South Carolina lobbying group opposed to gay rights and same-sex marriage. A petition was started urging him to cancel and he did on his own days later, saying he didn't want to be a distraction and did not want to seem to endorse all the group's views. It raises the question of what responsibility a coach has to a diverse student body and how that might clash with his beliefs.

Remember, GOD peals back the onion of Knowledge and Understanding when you CONTINUE to study the WORD of GOD:
“Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.”
“For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:”
…. And this builds doctrine (instructions and/or rules) of GOD’s plan….
Remember to hear the Prophets (2 Chr 20:20) and Stay focused during these perilous times…
James 1:5 … Remember to “Ask” and you shall receive:
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
Peace, Love and Everlasting Joy

Maybe I don't have any feelings strong enough to present an opinion on public issues concerning gay rights. Maybe my feelings are individual per situation and I don't want to share. Jon, Don and Jane will discuss cultural mores' and historical ways of grappling with gay concerns. They will also discuss newsworthy coverage by Variety Magazine, Esquire and others who publicized protests at the Beverly Hills Hotel because a sheikfrom Brunei who believes in Sharia law owns it and Sharia law opposes choosing a homosexual life. He implements strong Sharia adjudication in his own country of moral laws conerning harsh punishment including big consequences for married women and others.
Ace Lundon is considered one of the gay rights pioneers today. He's the author of:
Through the Needle's Eye/Legend of the Planet Itnava a psychological drama about wealth, politics, religion, medical science and the AIDS virus, an unseen enemy. Three friends join to battle the bigotry which threatens America. "This book isn't about AIDS," he writes. "It's about fear and family, bigotry and courage."
The Closets Are Empty...the Dining Room's Full: An Autobiographical Legacy You will learn how difficult it may be to empty a closet. The price of freedom usually is costly, but for Ace Lundon, the price has been worth it. The dining room of his life is now filled with those who have learned to love!

People died because they were of an ethnicity people did not like. They were battered and beaten. Emancipation took over 200 years and is still in progress. This is not a gay rights platform, the 50th anniversary of Selma, nor it should be. Bishop Sam Green of the 12th District of the AME church paralleled suffering and remembrance through the history of Jesus. Andrew Young, long time civil rights activist tried to use the green and global color symbols of the new blend of diversity struggles. Only one message held true and that was of Bishop Green. People like Tamir Rice and his death should have been commemorated, not gay civil rights struggles.

Dr. Chaps reports on these important issues:
* Colorado's civil unions law has no religious exemption so Christian business owners are now openly persecuted.
* Interview with Will Perkins explaining the history of Amendment 2 and the gay rights movement in Colorado.
The gay rights crowd is at it again. It's no longer good enough to behave in an acceptable manner. Now you have to believe what you are told to believe; think wat you are told to think. I'll give my thoughts on the subject. Call (646) 478-0526 with yours.
