Listen Mr. Brett A. Scudder's introduction of the Depressed Black Gay Men “DBGM” org with Mr. Antoine Craigwell, president and CEO.
Depressed Black Gay Men (DBGM) is dedicated to raising awareness, changing and saving lives. Through raising awareness of the underlying factors contributing to Black gay men experiencing, living, struggling and suffering in silence with depression and through education, information and referral to mental health professionals, DBGM is working to stop one more Black gay man from killing himself. By looking at the underlying psycho-social and social cultural factors, DBGM hopes to influence change in the many ways Black gay men are regarded by family, create more opportunities for Black gay men to feel safe and comfortable to seek help, and in so doing, prevent suicides, in whatever form or manner.
For more info about the DBGM please visit their website www.dbgm.org.
Please share and help to promote the effor to to help raise awareness for them.

Why Are Black Gay Men Ashamed To Be Called Homosexual??
PimpPreacher.com - Today we will discuss how it seems that Pedophiles in the church seem to target young men. We will also discuss the Pope's comments about the huge amount of focus on gays. Are pedophiles gay men or have gay men simply been grouped with the pedophiles.
Fathers Day Special Gay men often have a complicated relationship with our fathers. Often, by bigots and religious zealots that think being gay is a choice feel that a poor father-son relationship is to blame for the son's homosexuality. Of course that is not true but we will discuss why this is not so as well as why fathers often have difficulty with a son coming out.
Also, Magic Johnson and his gay son, Senator Portman and his gay son and many other examples.
One caller speaks of his many years of molestation by his father and others speak about their healthy relationships.
I also talk about my own relationship with my own father as well.
LIVE FROM NEW YORK!!!!!
There seems to be a lot of misconception when it comes to the behaviors of gay men; especially those who are African American. Based upon media depictions one would assume that Black gay men are either effeminite, on the Down-Low, or in interracial relationships. The lack of diversity is both frustrating and unfair. To add to the irrititation Oxygen network is set to air 'The Prancing Elites Project' which has created an uncomfortable debate within the Black gay community.
I have invited a few Black gay men to discuss media stereotypes, effeminite men, the need for more diverse imagery of Black gay men, and why they are accused of having internalized homophobia. You do not want to miss the discussion.
What's the difference between expectations and agreements? Why should you care? Listen in and learn how to better match what you say with what you do.

Are people tired of talking about HIV, or is there still interest in the global pandemic. Are women being overlooked and gay men the continued focal point? Do people still fear becoming infected? What if there was a pill you could take to prevent HIV infection?
I will be joined by co-hosts Nicole Vick, Percy Pandy, and Bridgette Picou in a conversation about HIV, sex, women, and a new HIV prevention tool called PrEP* (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis). Learn about what's new in the fight; its impact on the community; and what concerns are in existence.
*Pre-exposure prophylaxis, or PrEP, is a prevention option for people who are at high risk of getting HIV. It’s meant to be used consistently, as a pill taken every day, and to be used with other prevention options such as condoms. For more info go to: http://prepfacts.org/
