Named "the godfather of gay sensitivity training" by The New York Times, Brian McNaught is considered the world's leading corporate diversity consultant dealing with gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender issues in the workplace. He is also the best-selling author of six watershed books on gay issues, all of which are used as college texts. His books and seven DVDs he has produced are used extensively in classrooms and boardrooms internationally.
Since 1974, McNaught has drawn on his personal experiences and his skills as a sexuality educator to help audiences understand what it's like to grow up gay and to deal with the common, daily challenges faced by gay and transgender people at work, at home, in their churches, and in their neighborhoods around the globe.
During the early 1980's, McNaught served as the Mayor of Boston's Liaison to the Gay and Lesbian Community. As such, he conducted a citywide study of constituent needs, initiated and coordinated the city's response to the AIDS epidemic, and trained police, health and other service providers. Today, Brian serves as an advisor to former Surgeon General David Satcher at Morehouse School of Medicine on his national sexual health initiative.
McNaught earned his B.A in Journalism from Marquette University. He is certified by the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) as a sexuality educator. He and his life partner and spouse, Ray Struble live in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Provincetown, MA.

Most managers are familiar with the type: one employee who requires more managerial attention than all the rest combined. He or she may be a high performer or a low performer, but a common characteristic is the amount of management time consumed. This show is a reunion show of sorts that took a year to happen and even then happened by sheer chance.
Whoever would have thought a 15 minute experimental radio show in Kent Texas would lead to meeting for the first Robert Tolan Jr., his wife Vanessa and Roque Robles in the meeting room at the Round Texas Best Western Executive hotel?
About a year ago I sent 2 flags and a care package to FOB Fenty in Afghanistan to support Operation Crazy Horse which is turn was sponsored by “Welcome Home Military Hero’s “which is jointly operated by the Tolan Family in Arroyo Grande Ca. Their son Robert was serving in the Army out of FOB Fenty at the time. I had arraigned to send two flags to FOB Fenty in Afghanistan with one of them to be returned to me and the other to be donated to a returning service man.
I also had the two flags flown over the Northwood memorial in Irvine California, which is the only memorial dedicated to the Iraqi and Afghanistan fallen. When Mr. Tolan returned state-side I did a show with to thank him for his efforts and to hear his stories
Fast Forward December 24 2014 we stopped in Kent Texas to do a brief show about ghost towns not knowing that Robert was going to hear the show and because he is stationed at Fort Hood Texas, he emailed me while we were here in Round Rock and so we set up the show.
Today 12/28/12 we met in the lobby of the Hotel and prerecorded the show which I am now going to play
Because this was prerecorded live and without rehearsal I apologize in advance for some sound issues but it is my belief that live radio is live radio and that includes the occasional OOPS. MY real surprise I will save for the end of the show
