Episode TBD - Prophet Scott Lathrop and Soul Bait Ministries
Tune into this very insightful, BYGP Locker Room episode, as we interview former college and pro football players, who will discuss some of the various ways players sabotage their careers or loose favor with their football teams. It is our belief at BYGP, that every athlete has room for improvement on and off-the-field. Athletes have a very unique life, that provides plenty of opportunity to get off track. Many times, we can get baited into things that will either hinder or quite possibly, end our football career,
Join us, as our panel of players discusses what athletes need to be aware of to make sure they "Don't Take The Bait" and jepordize their careers. Drugs, Alcohol, Women, Gambling, Ego, Money and much more, have clouded athletes decisions for years. It's time to start discussions that can lead to awareness and change. Athletes cannot afford to sabotage opportunity any more. It's time for a more conscious athlete that is not going to "Take the Bait."
In this episode of AKANFO NANASOM, we examine the nature of ritual with the Obra/Obraa (Ba/Bait), the Spirit/Divine Living Energy of Nyankopon-Nyankonton (Ra/Rait) - the Creator and Creatress. The Obra/Obraa has its seat of operation within our heart and cardiovascular/circulatory system. It is our obligation to Inspirit ourselves through discipline in order to execute our Divine function in Creation harmoniously while maintaining emotional, mental and spiritual balance as Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit (African~Black) people.
Excerpt from our book, The Okra/Okraa Complex - The Soul of Akanfo:
"...Ba and Bait are the masculine and feminine terms for our Divine Living Energy, the Conscious Livine Spirit-Entity which animates us - like the solar fire or heat within our bodies which permeates our entire being and radiates from us. When the Ka and Ba (Kait and Bait) unite it is the union of the Soul and the Divine Life-Spirit. The Ba and Bait carry the energy of Ra and Rait (Creator and Creatress - Nyankopon and Nyankonton in Akan). It is the radiant energy of the Ba/Bait which allows us to consciously and energyically link to the Abosom in all of Creation and activates our inherited energy-complex, hye and hyebea. The term ba in Kamit is obara (obra) in Akan meaning 'life, existence'. The union of Obra and Okra is the union of the Divine Life-Spirit with the Soul..."
