Join us and Listen in to get the right information. Let’s teach our youth to excel. That damn X-Box has corrupted some of our children
Finally there is a program that targets our sons, daughters, nephews and nieces and community youth who are looking for a hand up and not a hand out. A program that allows young people who may have made a bad decision or hadn’t yet reached that level or maturity needed to make the right decisions. Metro United Methodist Urban Ministries in collaboration with Leaders of Change and certified agencies which include Plumbing, Certified Nursing Assistant and Sheet Metal are offering the opportunity of a lifetime and we are starting right here in Southeast San Diego on the Leaders of Change Southeast Radio Show and the Southeast Memorial Page. A Paid internship that pays a young person to earn a good wage. This is a Department of Labor funded program. We are looking for motivated young folks between the ages of 17 - 24 who have no adult convictions, who are now or have once been on probation. It is not necessary to be on Probation now nor does it prevent you from being in the program if you are.
Leaders of Change in Collaboration with the Southeast Memorial Page would like to extend our condolences to all the families who suffered these past days. Our prayers are with you and the memories of your lost loved ones will remain in our hearts forever.
James L. Bailey is interviewed as the author of the Contrast Community which is an intense discovery of the Sermon on the Mount and it's meaning. It deals with the beattitudes which appeals to those who have emptiness and desire mercy to those who have fullness and can give. He approaches the book as a tool for the church to use a transformative power to minister to the external world by employing lessons Jesus gave like turning the other cheek, giving the cloak off your back, walking the extra mile for someone. The church can use these basic precepts as an effective ministry to help those who are suffering in their local community. He also explains the difference of believers in the 1st Century church who were rabbinical Jews, Pharisees, Gentiles and how Jewish converts had to deal with critics to come full circle in the Judeo-Christian belief and accept the Messiah.

WE BACK - TUNE IN TODAY 12 PM EST. topic "THE WALKING DEAD" - Part 3 of the Churches of Revelation series. Jesus cuts no corners as he judges the works of the Church (Ekklesia /Congregation) at Sardis who thought they were "On Fire for the LORD", they had all the look and sounds of "high praise and worship", they did all the "good clean Christian church work" but according to Jesus and The Kingdom they were the WALKING DEAD.
“Write this letter to the angel of the church in Sardis. This is the message from the one who has the sevenfold Spiritfn of God and the seven stars: “I know all the things you do, and that you have a reputation for being alive—BUT YOU ARE DEAD.
THEN there is the church of Laodicean the "Prosperity Gospel Church", Jesus confronts them in all their "material getting", they lacked understanding that they were spiritually broke and MISSING THE KINGDOM.
“Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked—
The TRUTH on 10 today, don't log on if you want to stay comfortable
As we continue our study on Paul's letters to the Church at Corinth, we will be examining the content of chapters 3 and 4 of 1st Corinthians. We will looking at rewards lost and rewards gained.

>>>>>Hour Two: The Church and Homosexuality w/guest Austin Hetsler<<<<<
Homosexuality is a hot topic today in our society and also even though it is a small minority it has gained large ground because of being so vocal about their agenda. How has the church dealt with the issue of homosexuality? We are beginning to see many churches begin to embrace homosexuality and allowing gay men or women into the pulpits, or changing their views on gay marriage. Others take a much harder stance on homosexuality and treat it as almost if not the most unforgivable sin imaginable. How should we as Christians appoarch the issue of homosexuality? Austin Hetsler will be with us in hour two to discuss this very topic!!
