LatinoTalk Texas 2014, 0037 Daniel Garza & Pending Immigration Action

    in Politics

HUGE SHOW, TODAY!!  Daniel Garza with The LIBRE Initiative called the show along with David R Gonzalez and Elias Bemudez who are Immigration Reform Activists from Arizona.  They, along with myself, are all Independent Latino Political Activists who seek better representation for Latinos in America..  We discussed the terrible situation for DREAMERS and those in their families who live in fear of arrest and deportation unnecessarily due to Obama's harsh policies and they demand relief.  However, if Obama gives such relief it would eliminate any possibility that the Congress will act on CIR in any meaningful fashion.  Daniel Garza seeks to address this and obtain real legal relief and address the great need for MORE immigration to America and not less.  At the same time the DREAMERS are drowning and must have relief.   But I warn and my callers agree that Obama is blame and will only act if he can do so for his own political benefit.  Callers agree that the Democrats take the Latino vote for granted and the Republicans are bullies and that Latinos must have their own leaders.  We lament that Jose' Jose Peñalosa for Arizona , another Independent Latino, was not elected in Arizona.  My callers were; however, surprised, although Daniel Garza was fully aware, that the main source of the anti-immigration effort in America derives from the John Tanton Network of radical environmentalists from Planned Parenthood.  They have major leaders and activists at the leadership of both major parties and thus, Latinos have not political party on their side.  Great show today!! Tell your friends that LatinoTalk Latino Talk Texas is America's only daily political analysis from the independent Latino perspective.

LatinoTalk Texas 2015, 0006 Republicans Pander to Tea Party Bigotry

    in Politics

On today's show I focus on the Republican function of the odious and horrid anti-Latino bigot, Steve King, Republican congressman from Iowa. His function, co-sponsored by the Tea Party, featured Republican presidential hopefuls who sought to pander to the white supremacist tastes of the Tea party and Steve King. But first I discuss how recently there were Pro-Life rallies across the nation and in Washington DC and I contrast that Pro-Life agenda and the commentary made by those rally attendees who remark that "Life is a gift" which is fully correct and compare that with the conduct and the remarks of the Culture of Death, among which is the Tanton network of anti-immigration and white supremacist organizations. Which leads us back to Steve King, who along with Jeff Sessions, Ted Cruz and Rand Paul are all ardent advocates of the Tanton Network and their anti-immigration agendas. It is shocking to me also that the Tea Party types claim to be "Pro-Life" while they take their guidance from the culture of death organization, Tanton Network, and use horrible terms like "anchor baby" and I've actually heard them say things like, "You can have your baby, just not here (in America). I go on to read an article by an author in Iowa who reports that Iowa no longer picks winners but only picks Republican losers since Steve King took the leadership there. I agree and am glad someone has pointed it out. In contrast, Jeb Bush stayed away from this function and continues to tout a campaign based upon CIR and Education Reform. I'm glad and point that no one running for President now, either GOP or Democrat is also doing so. I assert that the Bush campaign will serve as a fulcrum or wedge inside the GOP and will soon demonstrate which direction the GOP will go: With the Tea party and failure or away from them and back to the Latino embrace.

LatinoTalk Texas 2015, 0005 A New Day in Texas & America?

    in Politics

Is it really a "New Day" in Texas and America? I review the SOTU address and comment negatively on Obama's motivations to increase taxes on the wealthiest Americans which is just more class warfare and bad economic policy and give France as an example. I am; however, that Obama offers hawkish rhetoric with regard to terrorism and ISIL. Until now I have critical of Obama's response to ISIL and terrorism. I am, on the other hand, critical of Obama on Immigration Reform and criticize him for not promoting CIR. I maintain he is no hero on that subject. Lastly, I criticize Obama for taking a victory lap on the economy when the statistics when fully examined show a very weak recovery and still a precarious situation. Lastly, I continue to blame Obama and the Democrats for the moral decay that has beset our nation. Before I go on to Texas news I comment on the Tea party response by Clawson of Florida who tauted among other issues the Tea party's desire to limit all forms of immigration which confirms what I have said about them for years now: The Tea Party is nativist and isolationist. Then on to issues in Texas and I read an article about the new Texas Governor, Greg Abbott, who is struggling to post conciliatory rhetoric to Latinos and minorities in Texas while he hides from his support for the anti-Latino Arizona SB 1070. Simultaneously, the commentary in the article was about Joe Straus, Speaker and Abbott trying to contain radical Lt. Governor, Dan Patrick. Patrick who will reinvent himself depending upon who is listening and, in my opinion, has ZERO honor, will cater to the radical anti-immigration forces from the Tea Party. Finally, I read quickly an article detailing the US Chamber of Commerce 13 steps to a robust economy which they agree is still very weak and could easily collapse. Among those options they declare Immigration Reform is Key. LatinoTalk Texas is news, issues and interviews important to Latinos in America.

LatinoTalk Texas 2015, 0004 Immigration still the Fulcrum in Politics

    in Politics

Happy Martin Luther King day!  LatinoTalk Texas is news issues and interviews impoortant to American Latinos.  Today, Martin Luther King Day, I read a piece I published a few years ago in SomosRepublicans.com entitled, Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr - Martyr. Today's episode is titled "Immigration Still the Fulcrum in Politics" and I prove that up with several articles detailing how immigration issues still balance the politics in Texas, among Republicans nationally, and in American Latino Politics. Republicans in Texas seek to investigate and immigration status of students in Texas and I state this will result in ethnic discrimination against Latinos in Texas and not all students. This is wrong and immoral and will result negatively against Republicans. Additionally, Republicans are accused nationally of avoiding immigration topics in the upcoming 2016 debates by not allowing Univision to cover their debates. There is more news about Univision as they are in a whopping 96% of Latino homes in America and now, its majority owner, Haim Saban, has formed a relationship with Hillary Clinton and says it is a dream of his for her to become president. Powerful news and I conclude that the Republicans are fooling themselves to think they can win any more national elections without earning the Latino vote. I conclude that even Jeb Bush who strongly favors Latinos and CIR cannot win as a Republican considering that the rest of the Republican party then and still even harder today strives to drive away Latino voters with their anti-Latino legislation in Texas and nationally.

Ruthie Report: Al Garza & Andy Ramirez

    in Politics

Please join Ruthie this week July 18th, 2013 with two awesome Guests:   Al Garza and Andy Ramirez http://www.choa.us/
Andy will give us details on how March on Washington DC went July 15th and Al and Andy and I will be discussing Conservative Hispanics of America (CHOA) http://www.choa.us/ Conservative Hispanics of America demand border security & enforcement of our immigration laws now today, without further deceptive double-talk from corrupt politicians with deep pockets. It is compulsory we immediately circumvent the flow of illegal activity at the border by any means available to us.Political rhetoric is no longer an option our citizens can afford to entertain. There have been voices of reluctance to deploy a Special Missions Unit (state guard) to the border for reasons which are neither new nor sensible.

LatinoTalk Texas 2015, 0003 New Legislative Season & Immigration

    in Politics

LatinoTalk Texas is news, issues and interviews important to Latinos in America.  On today's show, I discuss the new legislative season and how the politics of the election season and the legislative season greatly differ both in Austin, Texas and Washington DC. It is my opinion and I have articles to support my position that now that the elections have past that the real fighting begins here in Texas and Washington. The real fighting, my opinion is, the Tea party radicals who are anti-Latino at their very core, will struggle to overtake the Republican leadership and the re-write the Republican Party platform in their own pseudo-libertarian platform. I worked for many years to expose that but what I didn't realize was that Republicans who were previously so interested in the Latino vote under the leadership of the Bush family are now and have been since then willing to sacrifice the Latino vote in favor of obtaining the Tea party vote in an effort to placate those same radicals. Unfortunately, it seems that the Tea party radicals cannot be so easily placated either in Washington or Austin and it seems to me that Immigration issues are the very crux or fulcrum upon which these struggles balance. In Washington, Boehner who favors immigration reform continues to pander to the very few radicals in his party from the anti-immigration camp while they continue to have a metaphorical knife aimed at his back. While in Austin, the Tea party types again fostered an effort to oust Joe Straus as Speaker of the House but failed...miserably. In other words, during the legislative session, Republicans behave like Republicans but during the election season Republicans, like Dan Patrick in Texas, try very hard to sound like Tea party radicals. Dan Patrick has been elected to the Lt. Governor seat in Texas and I am VERY worried about what he will do to Latinos along the border and elsewhere in Texas with his plan to address immigration at the state level.

LatinoTalk Texas 2015, 0001 First Show of 2015!

    in Politics

I remark, first, on the fact that the Christmas season actually came to end yesterday with the Epiphany of the Lord and discussed how it is celebrated among Latinos. I go on to read Pope Francis's comments on this important celebration of Christmas. I read an article about Bishop Tobin in Rhode Island rejected an invitation to participate in the inauguration of that state's pro-abortion governor. Abortion, the Bishop said, is a "grave moral evil" and I fully agree as do most Latinos in America. I then read another article regarding the struggle against the culture of death in the form of homosexual "marriage" which is the sanctioning of a moral outrage and is an effort to undermine the very fabric of the American culture. I read an article from Florida where that state has been forced by a court to begin conducting such unions. Finally, I read that most of the new congress is Christian and many are also Catholic. In the next segment I read an important article from the Texas Tribune which chronicles the activities of the Tea party agitators and how the seek to overtake the Republican leadership in Austin and Washington DC. I also comment how the GOP seeks to placate these radicals who bring with them the white supremacist goals of the Tanton Network and don't care if they alienate the Latino vote. the article talks about Louie Gohmert's effort to unseat John Boehner and other efforts to undermine John Cornyn proving my points. Then, in the last segment I discuss more action from Jeb Bush in that he has formed a new PAC that will promote a run for the Presidency. I discuss the dynamics of that and point out that Bush is the only candidate who actually has Latino issues and Latinos in mind when he runs. The very things that make me like him also make the Tea party types hate him and call him the destruction of the Republican Party.
