"Min resa med Vision For All till Gambia.

GUEST: Chris Hassan - We need money for my wife’s treatment and travel. My wife Isatou is in Gambia suffering from recurring infections through urinary tract to Kidneys (very painful, very weak, and very dangerous) and recurring Malaria. My wife constantly tells me she is afraid she will die. She has been treated several times unsuccessfully in Gambian clinics. She recently traveled to a Dakar Senegal Hospital for treatment but is still suffering and needs an extended stay in Senegal or trip to USA for advance medical care.
The USCIS sent a letter approving our application for my wife’s immigration into the USA, so we are waiting for the State department and Immigration to issue a visa for my wife to come to America. Now our only option is to continue to seek medical care in Senegal until she receives her visa approximately 30 - 45 days. Unless she gets a flight, travel from Gambia to Senegal is by bus and boat and takes hours which take a toll on her body. She is in a lot of pain because not much medicine is available in Gambia.
So far I’ve sent her money for treatment and travel twice, but now I need to go care for her.
Now the Region has an outbreak of (Ebola)………The Ebola Virus ………..…………………… My wife is already sick and weak from her current illness. Please help me save my wife!!!

A conversation with the B.A.I.O. A coversation about "South Side religious leader Prince Asiel Ben Israel pleads guilty in Mugabe scheme"
April 11, 2014 (CHICAGO) (WLS) -- A longtime Chicago political activist admits in court Friday that he worked for the Zimbabwe government, but never registered, as required by law, with the United States Attorney General, but as he entered a guilty plea, his co-defendant and lifelong friend vowed he will not accept a plea bargain and plans to go to trial.
Prince Asiel Ben Israel faced federal allegations that Zimbabwe would pay him and his co-defendant, C. Gregory Turner, $3.4 million to ultimately set up political meetings to have sanctions lifted against the African country.
Friday, Ben Israel admitted he never notified the U.S. Government that he was working for Zimbabwe."Rather than take the people who believe in me and family of mine through a long trial, I agree to accept that responsibility of not registering," he said.
"You might describe it as a technical violation of the law," said attorney Ray Pijon. "Certainly it's a violation of the law. There is no question about that."
In Friday's plea agreement, prosecutors alleged that throughout 2009, the defendants tried to have U.S. and Illinois politicians travel to meet officials of Zimbabwe both in that country and South Africa. The goal was to lift U.S. trade sanctions prompted by Dictator Robert Mugabe's regime. Ben Israel today defended his work in Africa.
"I didn't know that the work I've been doing for the last 40 years, I needed to register," he said.
His co-defendant, C. Gregory Turner, is taking a different legal approach and plans to go to trial.
"We are going to fight this to the bitter end from a technical and factual point of view," Turner said.

Scratchylus started making music in London, UK in the late 1990s. The desire came from performing on well-known sound systems such as Java, Nuclear, Powa, Diamonds, a Girl’s Best Friend, and One Love Sound System. It was while working with all these sounds that he was introduced to laying vocals in a recording studio. His creative inspiration comes from artists such as Dennis Brown, Sizzla, Pinchers and Papa San. But his overall inspiration is undoubtedly from His Imperial Majesty Emperor Haile Selassie, someone for whom he has the highest regard. He has met and had an audience with the President of Gambia, His Excellency President Yaya Jammeh and His Ministers. He has graced the stage with the likes of Luciano, Mikey General, Bushman, Sizzla Kalonji and other well-established artists, performing for well over 35,000 fans.Additionally, he is busy putting the final touches on his soon to be released album, entitled 'RESET THE MINDSET.
Kiddus I (born Frank Dowding in Saint Mary Parish, Jamaica, December 1944) is a reggae singer and musician, best known for his appearance in the film Rockers.Dowding was born in 1944, his mother a potter and his father a bookkeeper. He adopted the stage name Kiddus, which is Amharic for "blessed one", after becoming a Rastafarian. In 1971, he set up a Rastafarian commune and craft centre located between uptown and downtown Kingston, which became a unique feature of a city generally divided by social class. Dowding was a member of Ras Michael's Sons Of Negus from 1971 to 1978, singing and playing funde drums. He recorded several self-productions in 1972 with Aston Barrett at Joe Gibbs' studio, but these were not released due to lack of funds. Rockers director Theodoros Bafaloukos had seen Kiddus recording "Graduation In Zion" in 1976, two years before the film was made, and decided to film Kiddus recording the track as part of the movie.
