Almost a year after Michael Sam came out as gay, the topics of gays in the NFL is all but absent at this year's Super Bowl between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots. We examine why this is. Cyd Zeigler, who is using Outsports' first Super Bowl credential, is down in Phoenix for a live report.
Also, we examine the gayest logos in NFL history. Our story that ranked the top 3 has gone viral and opened a debate about how far gays can go to laugh at themselves.
This week on Darryel's Daily Dialogue, we will be discussing the struggles of the Gay civil rights, compared to the struggles of African Americans(Blacks) civil rights. It has been widely debated on whether or not the struggles are the same:
Are they the same because both groups are/were discriminated against?
Are they the same because both are/were fighting for equality?
Are they the same because both are/were protesting for thier rights, due to being oppressed?
Let's talk about it this week on Darryel's Daily Dialogue....."where positive words manifest positive action."
A "friend" once told me that women who get divorced and then re-enter the world of dating are "clueless"
I must admit, fitting that mold, that things are quite different and confusing.
What are the new rules?
What do I need to know to have success in this arena?
I will be asking men and women their opinions on the subject, to help me get a "clue"
Tonight will be the first step. A rough draft so to speak. A pilot...And with thoughts from a gay male!
Should be interesting...

Today on Rockafellaz Radio we go a deeper into the realm of realness, logic, misunderstanding and understanding.
It has seemed to me that if a White man has control of something, and a black man or other minority is being accused of something and proof shows the innocents, why is the outcome so expected? Why is it that most of the time we already know how the ending will be. Who is responsible, the black man for being at the wrong place at the wrong time or the white man, for over stepping power of authority?
What is it in the industry? Do White gay adult filmstars get paid more than black and latin? There are companies out there that do exsist that even seem to demoralize blacks, but in a way try to make them feel as if they are special or they stand out. But whos responsible for this view? The models or the person the are working for?
Understand, that todays show is about the view and perspective of White men against Black men. This is not a place to excerise racism and it will not be accepted or tolerated on the show. Any racial comments or slurs will be prohibited and the person stating them will not be allowed to continue speaking on the show. At the same time, you are free within those boundaries to discuss what your point of view.

The documentary “For Faith, For Love, Forever” explores the debate on same-sex marriage in the African-AmeTrican community and its inclusion of the black church. Despite media portrayals suggesting complete disapproval, ordained African-American pastors and ministers are given the opportunity at a Town Hall Meeting in Oakland, CA to speak openly about their reasons for being for the inclusions of same sex couples, their rights to marry and being active members of their individual congregations. The film offers its viewers a powerful exploration of the effect that California's Proposition 8 had pre-and post-Election 2008 on the gay community. The discussion of black gays having a right to marry as a matter of inclusion in the church makes for a most diverse and unique topic. The film’s director Nefertiti Strong, Rev. Roland Stringfellow, who appears in the film, and James Felton Keith, CEO of the Detroit Regional LGBT Chamber of Commerce, that will be hosting a screening on February 2, 2015 followed by a town hall meeting Also speaking in support of marriage equality at the Town Hall Meeting featuring a panel of experts to discuss the economic benefits of Same-Sex Marriage in Michigan and Detroit to demonstrate how important inclusiveness is, in the economic growth of our communities.
